For all yall saying cass lying he been telling this story and nobody has called him on it. He was one of the biggest rappers in the world at the time. Not hard yo believe
How many rappers had the number 1 single in the country bro? Come on that was his moment. That single was big. The only reason the album is over a million copies sold. He was actually the 3rd biggest artist out of that ruff Ryder's camp if you keep it a bean
Cass s* stayed on the number 1 spot for hella weeks on 106 and park. That shit was everybody ring tone and had a buzz way outside of Philly. Plus we knew him for battling too. Hella people then had Cassidy as their favorite artist back then. He was one of the biggest rappers in the world. This before a soulja boy could ever exist
When that song came out, I don’t think their was a hotter song to even rival that at the time. So not being able to perform a song you was a part of within that magnitude, and potentially may have had relationships effected from doing what he thought at the time was a righteous and just thing to do, most people would be mad.
This platform has a lot of power...Cassidy was a straight A student who did homework for people...he just got caught up in the hype...his whole career...
@@shawnboogz7546 Everybody knows it was you that was a straight A Honor Roll student you know like "Terrance with the real nice Parents" keep it up the good work son
Cassidy is so funny. He’s a real one. Man said he wanted to go sing girl you wanna come to my hotel. Hahahahha 😂 “I gave them ninjas some guns and told them to go handle business”.🤣🤣😩😩😩
I gave him some guns so he can handle his business so we can perform... GOOFY, if someone used a gun or flashed one, etc., the show is over! That’s why he’s been exposed by Meek, Ar-ab, and Gillie Da Kid... come on Barry Reese, stop talking like you about that life
Bro I love Jay, but he did keep alot of rappers he was lowkey scared of in a corner and the funny thing is, most of those dudes like Cass and Juelz probably wanted to sign with Rocafella.
WHEN YOU BOUT TO HAVE YA MOMENT AND IT GETS PULLED FROM UNDER YOU FOR NO FAULT OF YOUR OWN... A SONG THIS BIG THEY SHOULD HAVE DEFINITELY PERFORMED BUT J RECORDS DIDN'T STAND ON BUSINESS.
He said his buzz and song was peaking at that time so MSG security didn’t bother searching them. He pretty much told the same story on lots of radio stations years ago. U could search them on here
Let's see....u hear dudes having issues and u hand them weapons. Then you turn around and say u weren't saying go pop a cap or u weren't putting a hit out.... really? Nobody sees anything wrong with this picture?
The moral of the story is that he needed R Kelly to be safe so he could get his moment to shine in front of the world so he handed his weapons to R Kelly's "security" to PROTECT the or should I say... not fuck up his moment.
@@rashadjohnson13 I feel u there, I can understand that but what I'm saying is that if something went down of that magnitude don't you think the show would have been cancelled? I just don't like to see brothers taking it to the limit!!! Not like that. Those BLM also. Just my opinion
This is funny lol lol lol lol lol Cassidy trying to explain this was to suppose to be the biggest concert of his career and these niggas wanted to know who won the fight which Cassidy knew absolutely nothing about at the time becuz he was in the bathroom with all the guns.
Renee Jr thats r.kelly u would've really wanted to too perform that sound to cuz at that time r.kelly was still the man but I ain't Kno Cass gave r.kelly nem guns and shit 🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
Do you think it was hard for those camps to get away with that at that time? Ruff Ryder's were the biggest label in the game at the time and cass was just coming off the number 1 song in the country
So did you think you was gonna perform if someone got shot with the the firearms you was giving out?? Cass used to be one of the best had the look the talent and the producer but young bull made songs for broads instead of the streets
@@jaymurray5515 I think he conformed to get his music out or risk getting brushed aside. But this is a dude who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and assaults and involved in other accusations. So when he tells a story.like this I believe it.
@@jaymurray5515 you just pointed out what damn near every rapper on a major label did on they 1st album or breakout/commercial album... These record labels create a sound for you
