Why is everyone judging Cassie so hard in these comments? She came on like any other contestant who's had a bachelor breakup. There's more to talk about than her breakup with Colton and she had the right to say she didn't want to talk about it. She seems like a genuine person, so does Colton. I feel like they're the least dramatic bachelor couple and so everyone wants to somehow add drama to the narrative.

Every time I saw her and Colton together, it always seemed like he was more into her than she was into him. She said nothing in this interview and seems nervous/defensive. Probably because she knows we can see that she didn't love him but just wanted to be famous. He deserves better and I'm sure he will find it.

Stick to that. If the friendship works out that is also nice and has integrity. "Confident" sounds like self reflection and representing for growth in relationships is important when things go south and people hurt. He has to do his part and move on too. Each of you has your individual sweetness and thinking of either smiling is nice.

Poor girl!!! How many times did she have to express her boundaries of what she didn’t feel comfortable talking about? She handled herself very gracefully!

I honestly would have liked an update on Cassie. She is her own unique person. Missed opportunity to let us know how she has grown as a person since the show or what is next for her. Would have been nice to get to know her better.

That's all bachelor nation cares about is "WHY" they broke up. I would be open and honest about it because you never know you could help someone else.

Guys stop hating on her. They were in a normal modern relationship. Life isn’t always fairytales and happy endings. Most times things don’t work out, doesn’t mean Cassie is a bad person or people should be blaming her for their break up and saying Colton deserves better. Im pretty sure she was shocked. She looks shocked Also the way she speaks about him is so calm and nurturing as if she felt she should be there for him and support him. Him confessing to her really just added a lot of weight to her shoulders, something she was carrying with for the past 9months. A truth that was told to her and she was not allowed to expose. Glad he came out and let all Gentlemen know it was him this whole time, nothing wrong with her.

From the very beginning I could see that she was not as into him as he was with her I don’t know if you guys remember the show but I remember watching it and thinking he’s picking her what ....why..... not that anything is wrong with her she’s a very pretty girl and she seems to be very smart going to grad school and all of that. I could tell that she was not into him and he was head over heels in love with her. She may have felt pressured to go along with him and didn’t know how to set herself free which I know must be hard for Colton because he really thought she was in love with him. In the future she may realize that he was a good guy and she should have stayed with him you never know hopefully by that time it won’t be too late. This is all speculation I’m not seeing this matter-of-factly this is just what I remember from watching the show and from what I see here now this is my synopsis.

I always felt like she never liked him much. But maybe excited about being the one and ran with the idea before reality hit.

Why are couples always so secretive when it comes to telling why they broke up...somebody has to solve this mystery because it happens everytime.

really disappointed in chris harrison and the producers with this interview... clearly pushing cassie to talk about her relationship when she was not comfortable doing so. and made her feel like crap when she didn’t want to speak on her PERSONAL relationship. what do you expect the girl to do?? explain all the details to their breakup without colton being there and not wanting to do it herself?? i applaud cassie for sticking up for herself because CLEARLY chris was not going to help you out at all. this should be a lesson to everyone here to only do what you feel comfortable with and not let ANYONE push you past boundaries you set for yourself.
