Singer Cassie Ventura has spoken out for the first time since the release of the video showing Sean "Diddy" Combs appearing to assault her in a hotel. Ventura, in an Instagram post said, "I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past."

Mad respect to Cassie for opening doors for thousands of women victims of domestic violence for many haven't survived to live to see the support for Domestic Violence movement. Stop the violence against women!! They saw their last few breaths at the hands of the overpowered abusers.

The problem of believing the victims is they’re not always the victim. You can’t believe anything until it’s proven. Thankfully there is video. But keep in mind.. that video could have shown Cassie beating Diddy and then he hits back. So no.. don’t always just believe the victim.
