nice film Steve. I was fishing in that swim a couple of days before you moved into it. I came down to say hi to you and Joan when you were a couple of swims further down. Cannot believe it was 20 years ago! Best wishes.
I've watched you and Joan for years this is a great tribute to all those years of hunting down mr carp. And so many 50lb fish in so many countries is a phenomenal activity Steve thanks for sharing so many great memories 🎣😁
GB hi joan, nice to see you & steve are still together and doing well, watching your video's brings back old memorys of farlows, by the way, thanks for the coke ? all the best Sid, Bonnies Sports.
Great video Steve, one of your absolutely best so far! It bring back so found memories of my own most successful Cassien trip the same year: I was at the lake 18 November - 5th December 2002 but I don't remember if we meet that year or if it was some of the other "night fishing years". Great memories any way! Thanks for bringing them back! / Mikael (from Sweden).
Great video Steve,Brings back memories of 2006 when I went there with my old school mate.....After watching yours and Simons dvd on cassein.....we just had to go...Cant wait to go back. Have a Happy Christmas and new year Steve and Joan. and a thanks for putting my 67.12 leather in international carper magazine 37 some years ago
Some amazing recollections there Steve, hope Joan and yourself had a great Xmas all the best for the new year. Joans fish was especially mindblowing well done that girl.
Great video Steve! Loved seeing the old footage really enjoyable as well as seeing your buoyant cassien rig thats done the biz for you not just there but everywhere. But great video, thanks for sharing the memories! Merry Christmas from the U.S. 👍👍
Hi Steve,I love settling down with a nice bottle of wine to watch you and your Joan’s vids😁I’m booked in at Alcoholics Anonymous next week🤣🤣🤣🤣Absolutely love um mate, all the best for the new year Danboy 👍
Hi again Steve, cant stop watching your videos over and over there's just something about them. May i ask what is your favourite swim on cassien? no1 deserves 1 of them cassien 70s more than you my friend i hope it happens.
apologies only just seen this comment. favourite parts of the lake changed over the years. Certainly the Mint Swim in the south arm was a favourite swim especially in the winter, but if there was one place that we both loved and produced many of our best fish then it would have to be the 1st Point in the north arm.
Great video Steve. I am going back this year 2020 but struggling to find latest rules, where to buy tickets now...could you point me in the right direction for most accurate info. As I understand Pierre’s has gone? Thanks Andy
For the long trips when night fishing was allowed we always used to leave it in one of the restaurant car parks, they are closed in the winter but used to let us park there
all over the south arm we actually fished five different swims, we started right at the top end past Gerards but on the other side and ended up right down towards Pierres restaurant
Pukka watch!!! The only thing I don't like about French waters is the French! Not that I have done loads there but I have witnessed some shocking angling and they just don't care who's season they ruin!!! Just my own experience!! I'll go back down the river for some quiet!!!
I had a row with a french angler Oct 18, in the south arm. Both stood up in our boats and he grabbed his oar and started swinging at me. He was fishing opposite me and dropped a rig right in my margin about 10 yards from my rods!
