+Henry Dube I don't think they wrote these for the show. Cassper's one comes from a verse he did on DJ Switch's mixtape and AKA's comes from the intro he did on Tumi's album and another verse from his own album. But it is "east coast freestyling"...lol
+Khulekani Magubane I know they allow performance of your track when Westwood introduces the second beat but during the first beat you should rap something from your mind not something you pre-wrote
People don't get the fact that the term freestyle has two main definitions. But let's not go into that. I'm not mad at this performance at all though. Dope.
+mojongi well the east definition of a freestyle would be anything that an MC does at an open mic set. Be it a impromptu spontaneous flow or writtens that happen to match the beat or mood. The west definition of a freestyle is strictly off the top rapping. No verses, no preparation and I think that that is the definition a lot of heads have come to accept at the expense of the other. As a result the term is used in a really weird way by artists and listeners.
better than what davido did there.. one on one a.k.a and casper i go for casper.. their beef tracks casper lazed down a.k.a.. casper won.. but on tim westwood performances then a.k.a did better than casper..

I think most folks here misunderstand the point of freestyle....see every artist is supposed stand out from the next one meaning what is called style is how they deriver there bars to form a meaning concepts(paint a mental picture)
