Fun fact: Joaquin Phoenix was offered the role of Billy and Reese Witherspoon was offered the role of Sydney and they both passed on the roles. Ironically enough, they would go on to work together in the Johnny Cash movie, Walk the Line. They both received Oscar nominations for their performances, Reese won.
I was literally there and I was able to only meet one, but I couldn’t choose when I did choose. All of them were sold out, which was so sad. I would’ve loved to meet one of them.
