Beautiful thank you, never knew one could proof dough directly in the sun, PS the make of your pot please, love your style of videos gotta give you huge credit, and this coming from someone whose been in the media and film industry for more than 31 years ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! This comment really means a lot! You can proof your dough in direct sunlight if it is a cool day. You can't if it is a hot and sunny day, the plastic wrap will act like a magnifying glass and will start to cook the dough. The make of this pot is "Best Duty" one of my favorites!
Hi, loved this video and feel very inspired to try it. May I ask please what size cast iron pot you used, and also what brand it is? How many litres does it take in other words? Thanks and God bless.
Hi Edwin! I clean it with dish soap and then scrub it with a wire brush- just check that no loose wires remain on the grill. Then I coat it with canola oil.
Oh my !!!! I never seen someone doing so much mistakes in making bread??? Im sorry to tell you this but im a bread/pastry baker for 45 years and seeing this video im were telling to myself i must help this young woman a little!!! First thing, You DOUGH BREAD WAS OVER PROOF ... AND 10 g of yeast for only one bread 4 cup of flour here is WAY TO MUCH YEAST and this IS why your bread have collapse will baking. Secondly, one rise in a bowl till it double and after your forme your dough and let it rise again till double and then bake it. Don't need 3 long rising ???? And don't deflated the dough when you are forming the dough...be gentle to keep all that air in with all the bubbles air because the bread love it and we love it also and it will be much more risen too....ok ? Good !!! Now when you cook in a Dutch oven cauldron you need to heat the pot the most you can . Don't also put butter in the bottom of the cauldron that why your bread was ALL BLACK BURN UNDER !!! YOU don't need to grease the bottom of the pot....Put parchment paper, put a big piece, don't matter if too long . In open fire i would put double parchment.... hope this little trick will help you...? Here some tips ; 4 cup of flour you need only 7 g of yeast....Oh and for instant yeast you don't need to put in the liquid....put directly in the dry ingredients, directly in flour...Another good way to cook bread on open fire, you put the dough in a bread pan the loaf one and put in the Dutch pot to cook....😊good luck 😂
