Cast Netting Finger Mullet for Tarpon Fishing in St. Petersburg, Florida | Tampa Bay 

It's almost prime tarpon season here in St. Petersburg, Florida so that means - it's time to chase some mullet. Popular tarpon bait include pass crabs, mullet, artificial lures, and some other secret baits I'm not ready to expose LOL. (I was sworn to secrecy.)
Finger mullet is what I landed my 209 pound tarpon on last year. I've jumped a few tarpon on finger mullet the year before so I guess you could say it's my confidence bait.
