People are so disrespect-able just like the driver on the highways . I really don’t understand it either. Fishing one time these guys on jet skis kept circling us making huge wakes laughing an carrying on we casted out an caught one of those guys in the arm. They were threatening us an all then when they found out we were members of the coast guard they hauled butt an never saw them again. We all looked for them every time we went out on patrol.

I had two shoulder surgeries and I have a bad back, that's the only way that I can throw it all day. I try to let the net do some of the work. I'll try to remember to put it in a video if the shrimp hang around. Thanks for Watching our videos

Try going to a 1/2” or 5/8” bar net. Lets a lot of the ‘krill’ get away! 3/8” nets should be illegal for shrimping.

Ed, I'm sorry to hear about your knee and I hope everything works out for you. It's hard to tell how long the shrimp will be running in Daytona, it depends on the weather (a lot of rain will chase them out) but I've caught them there into October. The same with Palatka, I happened to look at my log today and I caught them several years through October, actually did very well during a lot of seasons. It just depends on the weather. We don't want any hurricanes, that will usually end it. Take care of yourself
