Fantastic!!! I have a signed autograph from Guy Siner (Lt Gruber). He responded to my fan letter with a full response and an autograph. He's such an awesome dude.
Long live allo allo !! Absolutely by far the best comedy series ever. These days seedy crappy enuendo filled crappy so called comedy is an insult to great comedy's like allo allo.
I know they did the 'Return of Allo Allo' thing, but they should do ONE final episode with all surviving characters. Too bad Flick and Helga, or even Hans & Bertorelli was not included in the 'Return of Allo Allo' special a few years ago. John Louis Mansi who played Von Smallhausen passed away a few years ago. Nicolas Frankau joined the 'Return of Allo Allo' special, but does not work as an actor anymore.
I first seen guy siner as a scribe a literary servant of livia in I Claudius. Then of course in Allo Allo. I never knew until after first watching allo allo that I realized he is American.
@KarrieDreammind5 Yes, they came to the Severn Valley Railway (Shropshire England) in June this year 2011. They were great fun and a real pleasure to film:-)
Oh beggur, that wuz the yeer after I moov'ed from Sharpsheer. Great memories, Loved Allo Allo, loved the Seven Valley Railway. Of cause 'Oh Doctor Beeching' was filmed at that station
It was 2001 went to see them live in Blackpool. Absolutely funny! Me and everyone in tears of laughter. I don't think they do live shows to often though.
Parabéns a todos os atores e realizadores, nesta minha passagem pela terra tenho de admitir que foi a série mais bonita e criativa que os meus olhos viram, parabéns aos progenitores!
In "Camp Dance" it is revealed that she tried to escape through the post. However, she did not put enough stamps on her wrapping so she was sent to Switzerland instead of getting in the garbage truck driven by Gruber :P
They all look great. This was this year? I was wondering whether they still attend this kind of events, haven't seen them in Holland for quite some time now.. Glad to see they are still active with entertaining the public. :) Special love for Guy!
Wow Sue Hodge has put on a lot of weight! Would love to meet them though. Shame they probably don't go these days now they have stopped making the show. I remember going to the Severn Valley railway frequently when I went to boarding school in Wolverhampton. As a member of the Railway Preservation group at school, we often used to go in the early days and help to clear weeds and rubbish from the tracks etc. Happy days. :)
She left to go into 'Howards' Way' and a few other film roles before moving behind the camera becoming an executive with Miramax. More recently she moved into art and curated a women's only gallery in London. She has also become part of the Me Too movement revealing she was abused by Harvey Winestean while at Miramax. Only occasionally will she appear at these things, although did do one in London recently appearing as both Marias (Recamier her character from 'allo 'allo and Maria from 'Biggles in Time)
