We all need friends like Jim Bullock!! When my brother and I lived upstairs from our parents I always used the Sara and Jackie reference lol So many people picked up on that without hesitation!!
I was in college when the show came out. I loved watching the show with my dad. He loved Ted and all I kept seeing was the girls. 😁 I've been watching the reruns on Tubi. Brings back all those great times watching the show with my dad. Thanks for all the laughs.
I just rediscovered the show on Tubi. Been working my way through the episodes again after having last seen them 40 years ago. My childhood crush for Lydia Cornell remains! And she looks even more phenomenal now ❤
Too Close for Comfort was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid (I'm 46 now). I loved the cast, but I think the reason I loved the show so much was because of the house. I was a weird kid. Lol.

I was 7 years old when Too Close For Comfort first came on tv.i loved the show.but at 7 it was great.but I didn't laugh that much.but now at 49 I can watch every episode and end up with my stomach hurting.cuz it's so funny! I loved how Henry made those faces and stutters when someone said certain things and Monroe got on his nerve and he'd say, " get out! ".Lol. I had a crush on Jackie and Sara. I loved Murial too! Man,I miss the show,and Ted Knight. But I watch it every night.i've watched Season 1 - Season 6,3 times in past year. Lol. Still funny.never gets old!
Wow! I just found this. I'm 45 and too close for comfort was one of my favorite shows growing up. Glad to see you're all still friends. Need more videos reminiscing about the show.
@@LYDIACORNELLCOMEDYTHERAPY I'm about his same age too. As a first-grader, I came to Too Close for Comfort for the Cosmic Cow but I stayed for Sara. It's not easy being a young boy with a mad crush on the most gorgeous woman on television. There's not much you can do about it but at least it helps you develop your imagination!
O M G i haven't seen her in years. Dam age has been extremely good to her., she is stunning alright Stunning . I will guess it's safe to say she will be beautiful until the day she dies. How old is she now 60??

I'm crying with joy. I LOVE Too Close for Comfort. I was 10 when it first debuted. How on Earth did Lydia become more attractive 40 years later? It's insane. She has to be in her mid to late 60s and she looks 35.
I just discovered Too Close For Comfort recently. They air the reruns on AntennaTV, and somehow I've gotten hooked to it. I think it's the jazzy theme song that did it.😄

Watch the reruns on Antenna every sunday! Great show! Ted Knight was one of the few lucky stars to go from one major hit show to another and both became classics.
I always enjoyed Too Close For Comfort. You ALL had such great chemistry and it was a very funny and endearing show. Jim always reminded me of Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran for some reason. I don't know if Jim would find that a compliment, but I liked DD so I meant it as one. 🙂

Oh Gawd damn this is a cool find. I used to love this show as a kid. (Born 72') I was born in SF, but raised in L.A. and when ever this show would come on, the intro reminded me of my family in the Mission District of SF. I loved the cast. I had a crush on Deborah V.V. from seeing her on the movie "Warriors". I had a crush on Lydia, well, it's self explanatory, she was just so pretty, but I only had seen her in this part. Jim J. B was like a t.v. version of George Michael, (Wake me up before you Go Go. Ted Knight was like Bill Walsh, head coach from the 49ers. Plus he was a cartoonist as a profession. I wanted to be an artist when I grew up too. Anyways, thank you Lydia for sharing. You were one of the muses that formed my young artistic mind to admire beauty and talent. Right up there with Susan Summers and Linda Carter. Now I am a real San Franciscan Artist (painter) living in the Bay Area (moved back to SF in 2002) and soon turning 49 years of age and reflecting on all the tv shows and experiences that formed my young mind to become a true Californicating Artist. Congratulations on being a part of American culture for so many people growing up during the 80's. Love Rhino Picasso

Dayum these folks still look beautiful and I looked Ms. Nancy Dussault up and she looks great as well; so sorry we lost Ted. I grew up watching this series and I'm grateful to YT that I can still see the reruns which in my opininon need to be aired! Looking great guys! Best to you all!

Hi Lydia, I was 12 when Too close for comfort Premiered in 1980. I loved this show! It brings back so many nice memories. It must be strange watching reruns of yourself on this show and watching your younger self. You three all look fantastic for your age! You look beautiful :) Cheers from Edmonton , Canada!
It is amazing how beautiful these women are, after years of the show's ending. Lydia defies the aging process. She actually looks her best now. Deb was my biggest crush. She wore clothes on that show that made my young blood boil with desire,
"A BJ mouth." Lol...oh my Gosh, Lydia, you're the limit! I adored you on the show--you bumped Farrah out of the top spot on my adolescent mind's rankings of the most beautiful women in the world, and honestly, prior to your arrival on the scene in 1980, I didn't think any girl could ever do that. Honestly it sounds like Ted Knight was basically playing himself in the roles he had, like casting/producers people knew him so well and when shooting began on a project they are like ok just be yourself. Because when people talk about him it’s as if they are talking about the characters he is famous for playing. Of course many others have already said it but Lydia looks 🤩 wow!
Ahhhhh....one of my FAVE shows!!!...love you guys!!!....Deb was great in The Warriors...Jim always cracked me up....and Lydia...one of my FAVE T.V. actress's ever!!!....and Ted & Nancy....goes without saying.....great all around cast!!!
I watched TCFC religiously as a kid. I didn't see The Warriors until several years later and was shocked at the profanity coming out of Jackie Rush's mouth :) And I think every high school kid my age was in love with Sara/Lydia. Thanks for the memories!
I was 12 when this show started. I always loved Ted Knight. Lydia you were the bee knees that every boy was in love with, probably still is. I found your channel after you came up in a conversation in my Live Streams about Tv Show Girls we all were crazy about. Now on to Munroe. Munroe made Paul Lynde look like the Marlboro Man. How the hell did you not know?!?! Lou Jacobi??? I love Lou Jacobi. One of my favorite comedy records of all time is When You're In Love The Whole World is Jewish. I wonder how the cast felt when it was decided to add a baby to the show and cousin April. This is one show that could never be remade in this day. No way could a new cast capture the magic they had.
