My very first Castaway day (Nov 21) it rained all day and was cold 😕 I get another chance during our 8 night Bermuda in April 23 🤞🏼 Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching! We were SO afraid it would be freezing and/or rainy in January but we got very lucky. So happy you get another shot and hope you have the most magical time!!
We sail end of Nov. on a merry time curise on the fantasy and your series was great to see more in depth of events and other things with the ship. Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you so much - and thanks for watching! I think we are eyeing the Wish for our next one but we would LOVE to do Merrytime or Halloween on the High Seas someday - or a Marvel Day at Sea. We hope you have a blast on your adventure! ☺
@@DeanTeamAdventures OMG, I didn’t want it to end either. It was amazing 🤩. You’re family was authentic. No acting everything was real.! My kids and I enjoyed watching your Disney cruise. Thank you 😊
I am sad it is over also. Enjoyed watching every minute of this. Great family. We are going on the Fantasy 7 night Silver Anniversary sailing in May. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! If we can answer any questions as you plan, just let us know. You will have the best time - and planing is for sure part of the fun. ☺
Loved all your videos! My husband and I can’t wait for ours coming up in May :) Quick question: what type of camera(s) did y’all use for these? I was impressed with the quality, especially with the water shots!
Thanks so much for watching! We use a Sony ZV-1 (with a mic attached) as well as a GoPro Hero 10 depending on what we're capturing, both were used in this video! We have loved the GoPro for underwater shots, the audio isn't great but the picture is super clear. Have so much fun on your adventure and just let us know if we can answer any other questions!
Lovely series! Thank you for being transparent (honest) about the cost of the trip - it does help with expectations! Hard to believe that 7 months later the costs of the cruise has increased which makes it even more hard to commit to but I loved seeing y'all enjoy the trip together!
We feel the same way. We would love to do the Wish but can't yet justify the price tag for 3-4 nights. I was just looking around for fun and saw a 5-night Marvel Day at Sea on the Dream for $3,500 - which is $1K cheaper than it normally is by booking an Inside Guaranteed Rate with Restrictions, which means you're guaranteed to get at least an inside room or higher but you don’t get to pick the category or deck or location. So that's something to consider for sure. Also, thank you so much for watching! We really appreciate it!
Going on my first Disney cruise in December. Did any of y'all get sea sick, did you do the the boning think that's what it's called 24 hours before . I'm traveling with my 15yo and 6yo
We took Boning and Dramamine with us but we did not need it. Scott and I took it the first night because everyone told us we should but we didn't feel seasick at all. Skyela gets carsick on windy roads and never had an issue. The best way I can describe how it felt to us was like when you're on a plane and you can tell it's moving. Didn't bother us, but we could feel it. I noticed it most when I was looking down at my phone actually. We stayed on level 9 midship because we heard higher/mid is a good bet, and we got the best sleep on the ship. We hope y'all have the best time!
Hey there. Thanks for watching! We don't know exactly how deep the area with the slide is, but everyone had to tread water and couldn't touch bottom. The other one with the ropes course actually closes at low tide and is definitely more shallow because Scott could walk up to it. Hope this helps!
We have been watching a lot of videos for our up coming trip. We loved watching you all as first time cruisers and especially getting the details of the ports and excursions you did. Thanks for sharing!
Great video series!! Looking forward to our first Disney Cruise this June! We also vacation in N.Myrtle every August, always look forward to our time there as well. Do you enjoy living there? Or do you ever consider moving to Florida?
Thank you so much for watching and we hope you have the best cruise ever! We love living in South Carolina, we are in Conway which is a historic downtown near Myrtle Beach and it's got a great vibe, so many family-centered events and a great community. We love raising the kids here. We do love visiting Florida and have family there, so we will keep going back for sure - but SC is home! 🥰

Love watching your videos. We are going on our first Disney Cruise in September 2023. We are staying in the Walt Suite. Will you guys be on that cruise? We’d love to hang out! Seriously, my first time to comment on RU-vid, LOL.
Thank you so much for watching - and commenting! 😄That is SO COOL that you are getting to experience the Walt Suite, what an absolute dream. We wish we could meet y'all and hang out, but we are eyeing the Wish for our next cruise (probably next year because we are headed to London and Paris this fall)! Have the BEST time and enjoy every minute!!
Disney cruises are so magical, it's so sad that it's over, Every cruise I go on I get emotional the day before we have to leave, It seems like you got to know the staff very well. Holden got emotional hugs to him. I got emotional watching the ending.
Aww yes! Thanks for watching! We didn't expect to feel so at home on such a big ship and to get to know the cast members so well. It was so hard to leave because it really was just so magical! ☺
There are several lifeguards and you have to wear the flotation device to snorkel but it's NOT a proper life vest (just an inflated snorkel vest) so we wouldn't feel comfortable doing it if we could not swim.
This was such a fun series to binge! I mostly keep to adult couples vlogs when it comes to cruise line content because we dont have any kids so we cannot relate but i have to say, this was the best family DCL vlog series ive ever seen! Very well edited and you did a great job showing what its like to sail with two little ones! I always love seeing a first timers perspective of these ships, especially the fantasy as its my favorite! Great job guys! Hope to see you back on a Disney Cruise soon!
Oh wow, thank you so much! It truly means the world to us to hear this, especially as we're still establishing our channel which is simultaneously joyful and challenging. ☺We are definitely looking at more DCL sailings down the road, and we'll be watching your vlogs as we plan. The Alaska sailing is the ultimate dream. We also want to get the kids on the Wish before they turn 12 because that Oceaneer Club looks legit! We will also be taking the kids to Universal once they're tall enough to ride everything, so your channel will hype us up for those trips. 👏 Thank you again for reaching out!!!
