Wow this was so interesting! I love how they keep the furniture and things in the room so you get feel of what it would have been like long ago. The family tree on the wall was cool. All the stained-glass windows I love! And a secret door! How cool is that :)

I visited Cardiff for a week as a guest of Her Majesty's Forces, and they brought us here. We were all amazed at the beauty of the castle. I'd love to go back and take my wife.
I have passed this on the M4 hundreds of times, but never realised how big it is! Wow! A lavishly decorated interior too. Great indepth history, love it. Well done, a superb video 👏👍

Although a heavily modified castle, the level of information given, interactive exhibits, and architectural re-imaginings makes for an impressive display. Certainly not for every castle, but now I've seen it I know I'm defiantly going there.

Wow this is brilliant Allessa and Brett Your films make me realise just how much of our beautiful country we haven’t visited yet!!! That’s an amazing place - ha a rich couples love best looks about right!! Loved the walk between the walls - really narrow!!! The top of the tower is beautiful with those stained glass windows!! But the Drawing Room is the most jaw dropping!! Another one which we must try and get to!! Love that courtyard view, it really is an amazing place - one of your favourites? Cheers for sharing 👍👍👍

Gorgeous! I've been to Cardiff Castle and it's very obvious that the same owner redeveloped both places, even to the extent of having murals depicting various stories. It was fun in the Cardiff Castle nursery trying to work out what the different fairytales were.

Think this might be my favourite place your visited, absolutely stunning castle that looks like some of the castles in Europe. Loved the view from the ramparts, wouldn’t think you where in Wales. Fascinating and well presented history as always! 😊 the drawing room is unreal! Love it ❤️

Wow, such an interesting blend of Victorian style for a medieval castle! I have to say I really love it. I mean, I guess I wouldn't mind living there! The room with stained glass is simply awesome. I think I could envision myself sitting in the drawing room working on RU-vid videos, right? And it would be nice to have secret passage way -- always wanted one of those! Pretty inspiring stuff.

Very informative story behind the scenes. It looks like a great place to visit as well. I usually rush to beaches whenever I go to Wales 😁, but will try here next time :-) Your channel has so many castles and historic places I am not familiar with, will check others too!

Quite a neat castle there. The work they put into the rooms was something else. Does make me wonder in its earlier years what sort of militia it had guarding the nearby town...but nicely decorated now
