Someone ask about the links. It can be physical (related items, relics, servant's graves/memorials/temples, certain locations...) or non-physical (bloodline/genes, souls, believes, marks[1],...). [1]marks: if hero left a mark on descendants/bloodline on worthy subordinates or curses on enemy descendants, it can be use to some that exact servant if do not have other links, since its also a type of connection (physical links normally priority before non-one). 'why RYUUNOSUKE can become master?': 1.he did draw magic circle correctly +at right place(fuyuki)+right time(grail war) 2.he have magic talents/genes/bloodline that he doesnt know (no matter how small) qualify to be a master.

@@muhammadharisarrahman153 there are lots of cultists in the throne so doing sacrificial murder isn’t gonna narrow down what you’ll get as he did a ritual without using a catalyst . It will probably get you to the summoning pool in that area and he by chance got Gilles instead of a different servant.

@@_____2219 I choose to believe the fact that they both torture and murder with a focus on children, and neither is focused on the Grail, was link enough. It's not chance that they instantly got along better than every other pairing. I would even argue the lack of a catalyst made their like-mindedness a priority in the ritual. Even the families that know how to cheat the system fail to get pairings that ideal (though I think their familiarity breeds arrogance which overwhelms logic, they never consider that the ultimate Servant may not like them). Superior Servants, sure, but less than ideal pairings. None of which guarantees victory, not even for these two, but I simply don't think a serial killer summoning another with limited knowledge of the ritual should be chalked up to chance. Some stuff is just fate. Pun intended.

@@jaydenc367 the kids? the killer dude cut their dam heads off he was a serial killer but he killed the parents to get to the kids which he tends to refer to as "Material" because he uses them for his art ....the dude was sick in the head as hell.....there are probably some people who think his way of thinking was similar to Jack the Rippers
