Every town in Italy is treated by their people as their paradise. This town of Castiglione in Tuscany is no exception. Beautiful town with beautiful alleys. I like the simplicity of the Churches, the Prophet John the Baptist will like it that way. The evening walk is lovely and relaxing to watch as I just returned from my workout. Dear Esther, always happy to see you back. A shocking surprise (in a good way of course) it was for me as well - truly a stunning place and didn't expect it to be this nice. I knew somehow it was a nice place but.... stunning. Loved it. A bit "steep" perhaps but I saw that many people came from the parking lot in the north of it (at the northern gate). Anyway, loved Castiglione also very much and glad it was appreciated. One of those Tuscan towns which aren't so famous I guess...
Sono originario di Grosseto ed ho parenti/amici a Castiglione quindi ci ho trascorso tantissimo tempo della mia vita. Ho vissuto più della mia vita all'estero ma per me Castiglione è casa ed è anche il posto più bello che abbia mai visto. Mi è capitato spesso di sognarmela di notte, è un posto dove vorrei sempre tornare. Questo video è fatto veramente bene, complimenti! Mi sembra di stare di nuovo lì anche se sono lontano. Ammetto che egoisticamente speravo di vedere il lungomare, dove ci sono gli stabilimenti balneari e dove l'estate si sente un misto di odori (la legna degli stabilimenti, il mare, il pesce fritto, la crema solare...) che mi ha sempre mandato in estasi 😊 grazie per questo bellissimo video!
Felice che sia piaciuto! Castiglione è davvero un gioiello di paese, ho bellissimi ricordi di quelle giornate passate li. Non facilissimo salire con tutta la camera fino alla cima devo dire, ma ne valeva davvero la pena. Alla fine decisi di finire di filmare prima del lungomare anche per la stanchezza devo dire, ma me lo sono goduto dopo a telecamera spenta) Bellissimo posto davvero

Действительно, один из тех городов в Тоскане, о котором мало кто знает... так как он в основном известен своими городами на холмах, а не морскими городами. What stunner! It's almost as if Italians, when designing and building their towns hundreds of years ago, said «you know what? let's piss the rest of the planet off by making everything beautiful yet functional; and in these beautiful and functional towns with great piazzas, we'll eat delicious food and drink great wine, while we admire beautiful women like the one from 54:45 on». The only thing that somewhat balances Italy's overall awesomeness is its inability to have any kind of political stability, with sensible politicians. Oh well. Can't have it all!

That said, Canada re-elected that idiot Trudeau, so... mirror, mirror... Keep those Tuscan seatowns coming! Tusancay already had a reputation for being amazing, but you're showing new sides to its beauty.

Splendid view with the drone, Riccardo. Truly beautiful and touristy place. Very long beaches that stretch almost to infinity, next to the turquoise blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Nice private castle, inhabited some modern feudal lord, perhaps. Beatiful very clean stone houses, upholstered with green vines, sometimes. Long alleys, also made of stones, where the innocent conversations of the children resound and even an " Oh sole mio...!", very italian. Beatiful company came to the camera and the cameraman, almost at the end of the video. You continue to honor your nickname: Still Wanderer per sempre, Riccardo. Greetings.

@@StillWanderer Риккардо я очень обрадовалась,что Вы были в Ташкенте и в моём любимом Самарканде.Мой Род многонационален.И прах предков есть в Самарканде.Самарканд древнейший город.Его ещё Александр Македонский завоёвывал.Но моя любимая эпоха-это когда в нём правил более 40лет Мирзо Улугбек.Внук Тамерлана.Он был учёный.Астролог.У него была обсерватория круглая с 3-х этажный дом.Он очень много высоких зданий построил,как и его дед..Там есть могилы,которым более 400 лет.И прямые потомки за этими могилами до сих пор ухаживают.Там похоронен наш первый Президент Ислом Каримов.У нас хоронят там,где родился.Даже если умер в чужой стране.Обычай обязывает привезти на Родину.Я рада,что Вы у нас были❤ в таких древних городах Шёлкового Пути

What a pretty place! Wish I could stay in Italy for a few months and explore places like this. You mentioned it being touristy, but they're local tourists. Love the quiet alleyways and the "oldness" but I also love the ambiance of where the restaurants/shops are. Watching people just enjoying, strolling. Ohh the Medici... add also the Colonna, the Ruspoli, the Piccolomini - here in central Italy it's always "them") A shame many people aren't just interested in our history... just yesterday while walking in a beautiful town (I went to Marche region again), I heard people nearby (italians...) asking what the "monuments of the fallen" meant, and what the female figure was (it was the representation of Italy with the turreted crown as it's shown in typical historical fashion)... I wanted to scream, but I kept going.. :/
