@@TheHunterFisher Nah I'd say you're crushing it dude. You have a great personality and I like the video ideas a lot. The catching a boat with a little fish was hilarious. And I think you've got good thumbnails as well.
I love an old zebco 33! I taught both my kids how to fish on one. Now they use spinning setups, but we keep a 33 on a dock demon rod in the trunk for spur of the moment spots during our travels
Those shimanos are beautiful. Wish they had more line capacity and better drags. The big river stripers I fish for would spool those little bass reels like nothing
Bfs is short for bait finnesse reel where the spool is shallow and the line is small in diameter..bfs reel usually used for targeting small or stream fish
@@RedNeckCast much like that but some people prefer to use baitcaster reel..for reel size is same but the spool size is different..bfs reel have shallow spool that can take small diameter line like 3 or 4lb braid..like shimanos will use 50 size body reel and tuned the brake for cast small lure daiwa with the tatula 70 sv tw
@@TheHunterFisher damn, that's probably more than all my fishing gear. My main combo is probably only like $100 to $120, all of my gear (baits included) is probably only about $400. I bet that reel is buttery smooth to huh?
Yepp built to be. Investing in gear is smart if you’re fishing hardcore all the time. I tore up gear when I was younger and couldn’t afford nicer stuff, but fished 5/7 days a week.
I haven’t tried less than 1/16 yet but honestly I don’t see it struggling with that light of weight. I’ll try soon I sold my Curado BFS, without an aftermarket spool it’s lightweight casting is not great
@@TheHunterFisher yeah, I saw reviews saying how great Caurado was and I ended up spending a decent amount on it and it doesn’t cast nearly as far as my UL spinning gear.
