Kinda sad watching these casting videos after the series has ended; all the kids that are so happy about getting called back, knowing now that almost none of them got the part.
She's probably my favorite female actress on a show ever (Kaya as effy) she showed so much emotion without really complaining about it to the world She never had closure with any of her problems expect for when she was with freddie.. Kaya is a very rare talent she made me glue my eyes to the screen every time she was on the show
It's amazing because I could see every single kid in this video on the show. That's the wonderful thing about skins, all of the characters are your normal, everyday teenagers and not particularly pretty or special ones.
Yeah, they have the perfect balance of good looking and decent looking people to make it balanced perfectly, and it seems so real that when people die you feel like you lost a friend

FATAL I think they mean the personality wise, most of the auditions were genuinely plain and you can tell they are naturally awkward, not in a mean way as they were probably nervous but obviously producers don't care that you're nervous, they want the best, not somebody who seems like they need their hand held the whole way 😅 Kaya seems confident, tad quiet like shes not going to be a pain to work with by being gobby 😂 but also sparky& optimistic at the same time, she definetly suited Effy though hahaha 😂
Yeah, they were a bit heavy on the "I'm a beautiful fucked up mess" when they made the part. She's more of a legend, not a person you want to meet. And she MADE the third season.
I cried soooo bad when Freddie died but I wish I met u guys it would mean the world to me... u guys r like awesome... u guys made me a free person... not a druggy one(no offense) love you guys so much but I hate when my any character died I cried more then when I almost cut my finger off...I love u the most kaya ur the best Elizabeth stonem ever💜💜💜💜💜💜💜✌✌😊😊😊😊😊

I met her in NZ when she was filming here. I was at a pub and she came over and asked if she could share our table with us. Ofc we said yes and sat next to me and my mates with her husband. We were gobsmacked hahahhaa. Couldn't believe she was in NZ and was sitting right next to us. Talked about her child and how she loves NZ so much and wanted to live there forever. She was so nice to us! She bought us all a beer and I got nervous and pretended I didn't know who she was, and told her you can buy hats for your cats. She was amazed hahahha. Was amazing. I am sure she knew I knew who she was because I went bright red.
Well, in the final auditions for the 2nd generation, Jack, Luke, Ollie and Meg (I didn't spot Kat, weird) were shown. They were the most behaved and unnoticeable of the bunch. Just quiet in the corners.
there will be a season 7 with a bit of the old 3 gens. I know about Kaya and Jack starring but don't know about the others. (oh and I know Freya Mavor won't be in there)
