Its been tested by Kurrazarh on wild crops, hoeing under them to increase harveat but there isnt a tool that will increase the harvest of a farmed crop, the scythe just is an aoe harvest.

Bone broth, meat broth, veggie broth, all give some good nutrition values, But it requires making cauldron ( and he's not got enough metal to spare there) or sauce pan for micro amounts. Right now he can get away with not having to have either. A Mixing bowl would be more beneficial to him right now. Though, I think he needs to hunt, fish, and go gather more veg and grains ..., and berries can be preserved more by dehydrating them in the oven. Bread crumbs in good addition to a stew say -meat/meat/veg/bread crumb stews. Or Veg/Veg/meat/breadcrumb , or meat/meat/berry/breadcrumb. Anything you can store in cellar that will last a long while. ( fat can be used in place of wax to seal crocks if you have to .) Baking wise- With expanded foods , you can make meat and veg mix pies ( like a pot pie) , and can also make berry breads that last a long time. The bad part about pies/breads they do not give the hunger drain timer pause/buff. But can keep you from starving to death of course. And make great travel foods. Kerbo has blitzed through most of summer, fall is right there ... he's got lots to do to get cold ready still. There's time, but some prep has to be made or started , or he will struggle through the coldest months, and we all know winter is pretty harsh if you go into it not stocked and unprepared.
