This is the right way how AOE4 is meant to be played. 1 hour 13 minute match where winner is defined by how artistically he placed stone walls, and ofc housing districts.

Easily my favorite watch along of a AoE game. Please do more of these. Much respect to these two players. They love the game and have their own special style.

This is insane I watched this a few hours ago, went online and literally ended up observing davidgomez in a 1vs1 completely randomly. He played english and went full trebuchets, he still uses caution with erosion by including mountains into his wall structure. He also kept practicing into long distance mining however he did go for the relics this time and made sure to wall off the map without the use of invisible gates. What a fantastic victory against his opponent who had to surrender amidst the pressure despite having the lead mid-game. Thank you acosha750 for playing, have a good day.

It's hilarious how BeastyQT actually learned something from the lowest rated player. He realized that Wineyard Palace might actually be viable nowadays because you save 1000 resources per minute by using it.

I learned about the Wynguard palace trebs from a Beasty guide and have been using it for months. Now I see this video and learn that he found out about it from the lowest ELO player in the world at that time. HIlarious.

I See it that way: ranking exists to match opponents at similar skill level with each other. So what’s the point to fear „downgrading“ on my rank? It doesn’t matter because I will always win and loose ~ 50% of the matches. Just play and enjoy the game.. it’s a GAME and not real life!

David’s forward Keep at 27:00 is actually kind of a 200 IQ play. He defends his siege, gold, and gains network of citadels in one fell swoop.
