It's been way too long since I last did a video with my good buddy Jerod! The Behemoth reached out to both of us to do some covers of Caste Crashers after the recent Switch release and it's been so much fun revisiting these tracks! Jerod and I are particularly fond of this one and felt it'd be a good one for him to rip up! Even gave him a section where I was like, "Just go NUTS."
I hooked him up to my Superior Drummer kit sound through MIDI so every hit you hear from him was by him when we recorded this in my studio, it was really cool having another drummer to play to for a cover again rather than program it all myself like usual. Hope you guys like what we did with this absolute classic by Waterflame! Thanks for watching!
I'm also just surprised I've been finding so many uses for the cigar box guitar....

It suprises me that in this day and age people still remember this Newgrounds-built game. Danny Paladin would have never guessed how far his game would have gone from one of the strangest corners of the internet, to being remixed be legends like Jules and played on mainstream media. And I for one am happy to see it :)

Just from the drums, I can tell that Jerod played them; he just has this kick to it that can't be explained. I can definitely see that section where you told him to go nuts; right after the piano interlude. d: Wonderful cover you two!

Emm Bee Sea Jerod’s got this oddly intense way of drumming. It’s not too in your face, distracting you from the greater song, but it still has a very strong presence. Jerod plays his drums like an artist partaking in a tandem solo, not like he’s playing backup. Its really odd to hear when most songs just use drums to set the rhythm.

I remember hearing this one on Newgrounds back in the day and loving it, before I had ever heard of Castle Crashers. I absolutely loved it, and at the time I was working on a little game, and always wanted to use this as the main theme for it. Lovely to hear it again!

Hey! this cover/remix was AMAZIN! I'm Here from Waterflame's youtube live music stream because he says he likes your cover better than the original! So i went and listened to Race Around the World, and then listened to this, and i have to say that i can really see where he is coming from.
