The one I most commonly do is the 1-2 1-2 in the advanced section because you can get your enemies really high up and have no fear of getting hit by the bombs in the industrialist place.
I've been playing castle crashers since 2011 and probably know every secret and efficient way of dealing with enemies yet i'm watching a tutorial on combos.
For the repeated 1-2 combo, you can also finish it off with a magic projectile in mid-air. Also, heavy enemies can be juggled slightly but it’s very inconsistent. How I do it is: normal jump + X X (air spin) to set yourself at the proper height (the air spin doesn’t need to hit the enemy), then before landing do 2 heavy attacks and then proceed to do the light light heavy heavy juggle method
This cleared up so much for me. I had no idea there was a specific amount of clicks for each button for combos. I just spammed and hoped for the best for the past like 4 years

Tornado juggle is also a very nice advanced combo. I also don’t know how to do. This isn’t a combo but it kinda fits with the vid. If you didn’t know you can fly in this game without using a Enemie to keep you up in in the air. The button is xyyxyyxyyxyyxyy....... if I have magic jump you can magic jump press aa to do the little spin attack and then start pressing xyy this will make you fall slower and make it easier to learn and have more room for mistake.

My personally favorite method kind of switches back and forth between advanced and novice and it works really well but isn't 100% consistent. You do a 2-2 and then a lot of 1-2's to uppercut them into the stratosphere. Once you're up there with them, just spam light attacks. Absolutely murders when you input fast enough and is very good at keeping a super high elevation off the ground. :)
Once you reach a certain level you get the square square triangle combo / x, x, y for Xbox, it does a head butt which stuns the enemy for about 2 seconds which can be useful to retreat if you can’t fight
I remember I was playing this game with my brothers for the first time we were playing on tall grass field and he was trying to hit an enemy in the air do get close to another then he accidentally found how to juggle. At the time we called it “air combos” and we thought it was a glitch at the time.
when practicing i would recomend using the flaming rod thing thats dropped by the enemies in the magic palace it has high melee damage reduction so you can practice more without killing the enemy

I got an xbox combo (don’t know what it would translate to for PS or PC) start button + up + A + up + A. I call it the play another game combo, its very effective for people who are getting frustrated at the other combos and are about to throw their controller at the tv/monitor who don’t want to have to buy a new controller and tv or monitor. And for anyone who couldn’t already tell, it’s a joke.
Heavy enemy's you can float up have their weakness, 2 lights 1 heavy headbutt after 2 lights 1 heavy and 2 heavy at end, he can't counter you because of stunning and falling.
here is a combo that seems to work with anything light hit into uppercut into the spinning attack (the one where you spin sideways instead of around) its a good starter
Ice knight has a cool combo with light,light,light,heavy that freezes. So I like to use that to freeze an enemy and then like light,heavy,magic projectile to freeze them again. And you can chain freezes until they die, it's a pretty cool power.
How to do xxxyy attack Must be level 50 or above Get close to a enemie and press xxxyy smoothly. If it doesn't work, you need to make sure the third x attack is coming from above. When you press y it will do about the damage of a critical hit. Press y again to drill through enemies. This combo is very good for killing coneheads, royal guards, and stovefaces. Especially in insane mode. You can also use it to destroy bosses. If you have any questions I will reply
practicing the second step for novice air juggling was the most frustrating thing I can remember. just as hard as real juggling by the time you read this I am still unable to do it
TL:DR: Press A, then Y, then spam X and Y (XBOX). Press X, then Triangle, then spam Square and Triangle (PS). Press B, then X, then spam Y and X (Switch). TL;DR for the TL;DR: Jump, Heavy Attack, then spam Light and Heavy Attacks. You're welcome. This is best done against the walls of the screen.
you do these combos on controler? you can do all these combos constantly on keyboard? for me these combos are impossible to do on key board, i don't have a controler, so i never tryed on controler
I do these combos on controller. IMO these combos are doable on keyboard, it just takes a little bit a practice. If it’s still difficult for you though, then try hooking up a controller.
Thank you for the vid bro, but when I do the 4-2 combo sometimes it doesn’t last and instead of hitting the enemies down I do the uppercut move. Do you know why?
Adam the reason why is because you hit the enemy 3 times. Anytime you hit an enemy an odd number of times, it’ll make you do an uppercut. Otherwise with the even numbers, you’ll always hit the enemy down.
One time I accidentally did the most badass combo, elemental jump, light attack, heavy attack, move right, elemental bullet to the left, to keep them in the air, then another to hit them while they where falling, I don't know if I will ever be able to do that again
Somehow I can't juggle even tho I beat the game a bunch of times and the reason why I came back to this video is because I'm stuck on wedding crash(insain mode) Also some combos I do are: Light+heavy+light+heavy+light+etc Activate magic button+jump+spin attack+heavy attack

I'm curious as to why there's very little footage or info/tips regarding spellweaving, I'm playing a red knight magic build right now (cos of course) and I can sort of finish off combos with a downwards projectile but I'm not very good at it so I wanna try and fine some more strategies for it
There are better medium weight combos you can do. After they are in the air, you only do light attacks. Doing heavy keeps them in the air longer. Something like xxyy xyy xyy xy(repeated) will get between 19-21 hits. You can sometimes do 23, but you risk getting hit by enemies on the ground. Also you didn't mention beefy juggles. It's more difficult than light/medium weight juggles, but makes it a lot easier to kill beefies. do xxxy xyx axyyy xyyy(repeated). The timing is tight but you can do an infinite juggle this way. Also, you should have used medium weight enemies to showcase medium weight juggles. Lightweight enemies go too high in the air when you used medium weight juggles. There are also a couple infinite juggles for heavy weights: a yyxx(repeated) and a [yyxx yyyxx](repeated). The timings for the first are very tight. The second on has less tighter timings making it easier to use at the cost of lower dps.
Do I have to like change my direction while I am doing combos? I mean while I'm doing for ex. XXY combo and I am heading for the left side, after the heavy attack should I change my direction to right?
I know this video is old but there is a hard combo used most for heavy enemys: A A Y Y X X ( jump jump heavy heavy light light), if you do it fast you can combo a heavy enemy, i dont know if its possible to do it infinitely, but if thats the case its really hard

actually found a wierd combo thats prob a lightwieght but it can infinite xp farm, it is: a(no gap)y(0.06 second gap)xx(0.05 second gap) -restart from y-

What about Just spam (A-Light attack, w-heavy attack, iam Just playing on pc) AWW-AWW-AWW until to sky? This combo can use for demon, snakey and another. And what about AWW-AWW-AWW for heavy weight enemies? Like conehead, its very Hard, but deals many damage (i can make video with this combos if you don't get it)
I got to the women with snakes instead of hair without knowing any sorta of juggle combo, i fell dumb for wasting so many potions because of normal enemies

Dylan Lindsay when I recorded this video, I spammed the buttons but later found out that’s not a good idea because it can actually lessen the chances of you doing a particular combo; especially with the combos that require a lot of button combinations. So it’s better to hit the combos only as the amount they are shown.
