i am happy that the castle crashers community still continues videos and stuff like that, i am always happy to see a video about it, it so nostalgic

You forgot the hidden alter that put the knights through this adventure again from where they ended but everything was way tougher only to be sent back with the strength gained upon the second success

This video actually made me realize the amazing attention to detail put into this game

The necromancer looks like the villain's ally, which is much stronger than the main villain himself, but prefers to be an ally than the head I like this kind of characters

I like the theory that says the orange princess was killed and replaced as a final "Fuck you" to the knights. In the painter's room, we actually see paintings of the orange princess stabbed in the back and on the ground, giving a hint this may be the case.

Wait a minute… Could it be that the final boss is a representative of reasonable trolls? His body color, the particles flying away from him when he is defeated, the method by which he summon minions, his sharp teeth - isn’t he a troll? He could just learn magic from ruins and maybe his eyes are yellow because of the presence of magic in him. Also, we don’t see fur on him, perhaps because he just washed, which his brothers don’t do.

this was nice. made me feel like it was some sort of old fairy tale the way you narrated it. thanks for bringing back good memories!

Man, I really wish this game was connected to battleblock theater and pit people as it's the only real game that doesn't really fit in the lore

this just goes to show how fun a series adapting this game would be

Correction: the bears are actually evil because the thieves that you fight before you go into the cave one of them has a bear flag in them and those thieves are seen stealing the princesses

It occurs to me just how much of this game I haven't played. I think I've gotten as far as 2:57. It seemed like so much progress as a kid

I don't think the evil wizard betrayed the prince for no reason. I think the prince gave him the princess on purpose and tried to escape with him in terror, but the evil wizard was MAD at him for FAILING to defeat the heroes which is why he left him for dead.

something about the simplicity of castle crashers is so beautiful. whether you’re just chilling on a rainy night or you and your friends are on a journey to save the kingdom, castle crashers delivers. it’s not over the top and doesn’t take itself too seriously for what it is, yet always leaves you with a satisfying feeling until the next time you play.

I remember finding the industrial prince but i actually grabbed the telescope before killing him which in turn just completed the Level. I went through the entire level again just to kill him.

Could you do a video on the true identities of the knights, I think they all have special origins and aren't just regular knights that serve the kingdom. It's even hinted at in the game since majority of bosses and enemies have similar elemental abilities to the four knights

The Thieves are actually part of the Bear tribe. The Catfish Rider is working with the thieves to try and stop you, and when the two Princesses are handed off, one of the thieves pulls out a Bear tribe flag.

I just realized something that I never did before watching this video (ironically it's not something I've seen/heard mentioned). The convenient lava pit that the Cyclops falls into is the Conehead Groom's grave. I didn't even realize it until I thought about why there would be a shovel next to it. Not to mention the lack of the groom's body durring the boss fight.

a head cannon I always had was that the necromancer was just hired by the evil wizard and was doing what he was told to do because the evil wizard was paying him based on the way the evil wizard fight and the necromancer fight are compared in difficulty and how they fight and if they were to get into a fight necromancer would be able to quickly kill all the evil wizard's forms with the crystals being smashed in their the bubble phase is just a free win as he would just fly over the attacks, the spider phase he would be able to kill and reanimate the cult minions to his will and how during the final phase with the dragon sword being able to fly all around and swoop in for an attack and also shield bashing the evil wizard during the spin attack and the overhead swing. so if this evidence is true from what we know just from what we see in-game the necromancer could have been hired by the evil wizard as they could have been one of the best fighters available to hire with the added bonus of being able to bring back any lost allies to suffer zero casualties. but that is just a head cannon and theory.

Theory: The reason as to why necromancer has the same abilities, attacks and even juggling technique, is because he WAS a knight yet was possibly exiled for practicing necromancy.

I bought Alien Homenoid solely because this game so that way I could play as the Alien (And I think use an Alien pet too maybe?)

Wow, someone actually made a video about it, and i wasn't expecting this.

The luckiest princess is probably the green one, as she wasn’t put in a cage (well, after the groom died she was) or dead(I speak of the orange princess) or left on the log until it was cut, she was the bride of a decent warrior of the Conehead Empire.(Unwillingly, of course.) I apologize for spoilers if you aren’t at the Conehead Kingdom part.

i remember one game where you are pink and you fight again big black knight when you loose health someone comes and black night is stunned while he filles up your health bar by him being stunned and schocked

Necromancer is the best character. And in my opinion/headcanon, the main boss took control over everyone and is forcing them to be at war. I don’t believe the necromancer is his right hand man by choice, but by force. But I’m probably just making random stuff up
