Lyrics in the video, and song details are below: Caste in the Sky - Nightcore version by me Original song: Castle in the Sky by DJ Satomi Picture link: www.desktopwallpapers4.me/anim...
When I was 11 years old, I was playing Dark Orbit, some sort of spaceship MMO game. At that time, I was still getting acquainted with RU-vid and watching various videos related to the game. Many of them contained songs by DJ Satomi, including this one, Castle in The Sky. At the time, I was very young and didn't know the name of the songs that played in the videos. So time passed, I dropped the game and the videos, and those memories were lost. Only the longing remained. I grew up, several things happened and I also started watching several animes. Of the many I've seen so far, my favorite is and will probably always be Sword Art Online, the one that (most) changed my life and the way I see things. Today, in my internet wanderings, I came across an old video of Darkorbit, saved in my favorites. It was a video that I found again after several years and saved for nostalgia. Older, after all, it's been about 11 years, today I can identify the songs that are in the background of the videos. Understanding the lyrics, I started looking for DJ Satomi and his songs. And, among them, one caught my attention precisely because of its name. It was Castle in the Sky. I might just be a random guy wandering around the internet who found this song by chance and wrote a text. But at this point, I think it's amazing how so many years before I got to know my favorite work, I heard a song whose name reminded me of it. Perhaps this symbolism is more present in my life than I realize. Anyway, many thanks to the channel owner. Sincere regards from a random guy from the internet who loves Sword Art Online and also loves this song. You helped me rescue a very important memory from my life, even if it wasn't intentional. :)
I played Dark Orbit in it's beta stages, my nickname was "Rain2024" - I always was having Thunder Storms during the big fights, which is how the name came about... lol. Tbpf, I did go by another nickname that was often taken, but Rain2024 was my own unique name for that time in my life; nobody else used it; God I miss the 90s. I was usually playing the repair crew/engineer ship function (e.g. Healing up other ships on my team), and I must say I remember that game being one of my favorites, it played similar to what StarMade Plays as now only without the custom ship building, if that makes any sense. It was like You had a couple of teams and (this was before such things as Queues and BYOP) everyone in the beta was free to join either team. The Battles played out a lot like PlanetSide 2 in Space if you want a modern reference, but the overall objective was similar to most games of the time: Gain Rank, get a better ship, keep fighting. There was no real "end" to the battles (atleast in beta), and I remember the ships being the most cool looking Black with green lights that I had seen yet. (Reminded me a bit of Descent Freelancer: The Great War, as far as the visuals)
in studio Colorado's a whisker away, there is a floating island in the sky called Cat Island that only cats can see or travel to, but it is connected to our world with an invisible bridge
The Shana playlist starts with S3rl- birds and bees. The next one is rainwave- dream of eternity. Shana is in the kingdom above the clouds in the castle in the sky.
I found this song on old RU-vid when nigahiga was #1, was set to kingdom hearts gameplay. That account got prolly a decade ago, rip buddy your actions lived longer than your account
