Have anybody noticed when Nathan said" OH my gosh i'm in love with her. " She's great. on 1:44. about someone coming on the set. and after he said that he looked at Stana Katic.. She just sat there and smiled . Who ever it was that he was in love with that was coming on the set on Castle
I think Stana just doesn't favor when there's a huge room full of people & she's content to let Nathan do his thing because he loves it. I recall an interview where she said she's never done Comic-Con (I think this was her first one), & she was going to go find Nathan to ask his council. She was sorta shy at Paley Fest too. It's not a big deal, I think it's endearing.
So many comments about how stana was anxious/shy. I've watched her other interviews and she isn't like that in any of them. I'm thinking it's because she didn't get that many questions & that nathan pretty much stole the show. You know those conversations where you don't really get to say anything you want because someone has plenty to say and basically sums up everything you wanted to input? She probably felt a little like that, not to mention her seat was so secluded from everyone else..
stop commenting about how shy and anxious stana looks! she's not at ALL like that. she's actually a real cutie and pretty loud and silly. I think she was just tired and none of the fans were asking her questions! everyone was focused on Nathan. and plus he was talking about being "in love" with another actress.
@ctf20 Every interview I've seen besides this (usually just the ones of her and Nathan) she's really talkative and open. I was surprised to see her this quiet actually.
Yeah that part Nathan was talking about the actress was about Jennifer Love Hewitt. " Castle’s executive producer Andrew Marlowe has told TV Guide that he’s written a part for the actress in the newest season of Castle and that he’s really hoping she’ll join the show.It looks like Hewitt might not be completely adverse to the thought of taking a role in Castle and she’s in talks at the moment to see if they can work out a contract"

When they read the book, I think it says everything. I don't think it was about ''who's making the show'', it sounds more like a sexual tension here. Everybody who know who is Nathan Fillion, know that he is always charming. Stana have a boyfriend, so there's the tension. I think its more that then ''Nathan stole the show.'' Its my opinion, maybe I just see think differently.
That doesn't surprise me. When you're the straight man, it's hard to compete with the clown because the clown's personality is such that you can't get a word in edgewise. The clown overshadows quieter, more soft-spoken personalities because quieter, more soft-spoken personalities don't necessarily seek out the attention. The straight man is more low-key than the clown. In any case, I prefer Stana's one-on-one interviews.
