"Quiz Show 13," a Douglas RA-3B Skywarrior was saved from the chopping block and put display at the Castle Air Museum. The Skywarrior was originally designed in 1949 as a carrier based nuclear bomber and evolved into photoreconnaissance, electronic warfare, and aerial tanker version. Disassembly began at the Mojave Airport in January, 2010. Following eight one-week sessions, the aircraft was transported to the Castle Air Museum on December 16, 2010. The aircraft was then reassembled and dedicated on May 26, 2013.
Those in the Air Force would have known its fixed-wing cousin as the B-66 Destroyer.
