Castlefreke, also known as Rathbarry is a townland and village in County Cork, Ireland. The large castle and estate which dominates the area was originally the site of a 15th century tower house. The castle was purchased in 1999 by a descendant of the Evans-Freke family, who is restoring the building. Mr Stephen Evans Freke plans to spend part of his time living there, but would also open it on occasion to the public for charity events, once the castle is refurbished.
