A walk and some drone footage from Niton down to Catlehaven green and then onto The lighthouse, from here I go up to the Old Blackgang road for a different view of St Catherines and surrounding area. en.wikipedia.o...
Yes indeed, a great little 'haven'. I was there a week ago and it was lovely with the tide full out. I walk all the way to Reeth Bay on the shore. A fisherman was just about to go out with his lobster pots. I found the path at the very top - after coming through the style at the bottom of the lane) was like a quagmire. Even though there was a little wooden bridge across the stream the whole of the surrounding ground had become a marshland. A lot of other footpaths were the same - boggy and muddy. It was great to see and hear the peregrines around Gore Cliff.
Wow, been to the island so many times but never to this part. We intend to move there in a couple of years, seeing this makes us want to get on with it even more. Thanks for posting it.
