Castlevania Bloodlines 20 Simon's Theme This song, Castlevania and the Castlevania logo are property of their respective owners. This video and the material used is meant only for recreational purposes.
This is the song that plays when you're squaring up with the opp and suddenly your best friend who's been off the grid for 3 years pulls up and asks you which one he should beat up first
This song feels as if the spirit of Simon Belmont is giving John Morris & Eric Lecarde the strength and courage they need to fight Dracula. This song also feels as if John Morris has finally proven himself worthy to be a successor to the Belmonts and wield the Vampire Killer, a weapon that once belonged to the Belmonts, and the same one that has been used to destroy Dracula.
You hit the bullseye with that comment! I love the timing of this remix, our two heroes have defeated the villain of the game it’s over, but it turned out there were too late, Dracula has been reborn so they have to cope with this madness just a little more and end this horror once and for all
ironically, it wouldn't be until his son jonathan morris in portrait of ruin, who would truly prove he was worthy of wielding the whip, as its stated the whip drained john morris's life force
Simon's theme? What are you doing here, this isn't your game Simon! Guess he's just cheering you on from heaven to beat the shit out of Dracula's three forms?
@@danbob8808 nothing else to do? im from germany and english is not my native language. But you can try writing german here and i compare your language skill with mine... have fun
I remember one time when I was 12 years old, Our House got Robbed took away a lotta Shit including my Nintendo and Super Nintendo, and I always luved Castlevania, Well when my Dad got me a Sega Genesis a Year Later & I remember when I had got this Game, When I 1st heard this Track I remember missing my Part IV & wanting to play it again, Now I have the whole Collection on XBox One & it really brings back Memories
@@ikagura Nope, if you dont have belmont blood, the sacred weapons like the vampire killer will drain your life fast, thats why the whip user here, john morris left the whip and try to teach his son to be a hunter without that weapon
I like both remixed versions of this track but to me this is how both versions sound to me Super Castlevania 4: Dracula is back and he's stronger and nastier than ever before, and Simon Belmont is also back to take out Dracula and his hordes of evil minions once again. He has to get pumped for a new and crazy adventure as he fights his way to Dracula to take him down once and for all. Now it's time for the journey begin! Castlevania Bloodlines: John and Eric have outlasted all the craziness to finally beat the one responsible for turning the world upside down so Dracula isn't resurrected. They think it's all over, but there's one more person they have to eliminate.... Dracula himself. Now the real fight is about to go down in a few moments. The pride and soul of the Belmonts will guide the two men. So they better get ready, because the final battle will begin shortly!
This is so damn powerful and evil! It resonates so damn good with "dracula" it gives the feeling just of it!!!! It's impressive and really admirable to think that someone could compose this, such a legendary beat, one of the all time greatest ever made.
Dance of the Holy Man, AKA the theme of Simon from Super Castlevania 4. The real home stretch. Let us send Dracula back to the depths of hell from whence he came, once and for all!
@@guillermocalvillo4915 Soma Cruz isnt emo, he was just a normal high schooler until the 2031 eclipse. He’s not even emo in the sequel where a terrorist organization was created specifically to hurt him and reincarnate dracula.
@Mach 777 So they pledge their alliance to a computer system and say the other systems are the "enemy"? That's kinda dumb. They're just old games systems, I like both.
Opino lo mismo. Obviamente la versión de Snes es superior porque se compone de más elementos. Pero la virtud de éste remix cae en su simpleza, puedes distinguir los diversos "instrumentos" y suena jodidamente bien. Prefiero esta versión.
I used to really dislike this version and not understand why people liked it so much when it is so mellow and slow…. Then I played the game and holy fucking shit hell yeah. If there’s a song that is gonna play while I am climbing the stairs to whoop vampire ass, it has to be this.
Objectively, I preffer the SNES version 'cause the instruments sound clearer n' not arcadelike. However, this version is still freakin' awesome 'cause it strikes you right in the nostalgia by the arrangements, so detailed that makes it the perfect tribute!!!
Well, it's hard to tell. For me thoe two are like the same but diffrent songs. How to put it... other purpose soundtracks? Genesis ver is for like prelude to final fight For SNES it's like "good night to kick some asses"
Mysterious Maximus How? And yes, Castlevania progressively got worse over the years. But come on, one game has to have some kick ass value, like this theme!
I wish I could hear what other people are hearing here. Not to be overdramatic or anything, but I honestly think this is rather poor on comparison to the SNES original. It lacks all the atmosphere, it's slower in pace, and the obvious drop in instrument quality is enough for me to deem it inferior. That's honestly how I'd describe the Genesis v. SNES argument entirely lol
"Lacks all the atmosphere"?? Yeah... In the sense that they have completely different atmosphere. The SNES version is upbeat and gives you a sensation of power and hope, while this one prepares you for the final battle and is closer to a rite (ironically closer to classical music than the console which is touted as the one more capable to create orchestral music), it plays on the homestretch after fighting the last boss right before Dracula and it makes the parallel between your character (either John Morris or Eric Lecarde) to an actual Belmont; they're just as worthy as Simon to beat Dracula. They don't have the same purpose in their respective games, and the Genesis version SHOULD NOT try to sound like the SNES version on that moment (even if it were borrowed 100% the same with the same instrument quality), it'd be completely missing the point. It's meant to sound like that not because of limitations, but for story reasons, and I dig this version better than the SNES', the latter becoming more and more cheesy as I kept on listening to it.
