To be fair, I'd doubt a vampire needs to bath as often as a human. By most accounts of them in Lore and fiction they don't have the biological processes that cause secretions like sweat and oil that make humans dirty, plus even if they shed skin cells they'd probably instantly dissolve into ash. Sure they might get knocked into something nasty, and get dusty from traveling. But they'd never get BO.

Even among vampires, Godbrand probably smells like ass.

True, but Godbrand didn’t have the luxury of knowing Dracula on a personal level. He figured it out simply by observing the situation.

You could argue they can't cross running water, meaning they couldn't physically touch the water.
