they didn't need to, after all the bullshit the main game put Gabriel through I wanted the forgotten one to die screaming too. as a kid I remember laughing and cheering Dracula on when he absolutely deleted that thing.
Trevor Belmont will always be proud of that badass Gabe Drac Belmont and Leon gives him the thumbs up for the way he SLAYED the Forgotten One they both are experts on that area seriously adore this moment of this majestic Castlevania the most crucial moment and a good challenge on MAX diff especial if you do a Non upgraded HP run played like a true Belmont warrior or you ll DIE
They've really crapped this boss fight by making it entirely mid-air battle but making air moves shit in the game. In the sequence, you can evade mid-air; if they've done that in this first game, it probably would be less bothersome.
They could have done better with this guy like a whole new adventure plus, they wasted his potential on a short story, I like his style, what if it turns out he lost on purpose to actually escape an no one was the wiser about it.
Funnily enough i started to replay this game around the same time you started launching these bosses videos, so it was quite amusing comparing the way we fought them, still seeing you dying to the forgotten one is rather weird since i bested him quite easily. The platform however is a different story, the bloody camera and jumping controls killed me far more times than anything this game threw at me.
I was like on the highest difficulty but I had to lower it for the last phase. if you go check other videos of the forgotten one, a lot of people struggled a lot with him too. In my opinion, it is a very poorly designed boss, not because it is difficult, but rather because it is unfair.
@@FromFrosty I dont think so. Some enemies in this game are unfair, but thats because its hard to see the cues for their attacks. The forgotten one however, is easy to see. You simply need to bind your time and wait for him to use an attack that leaves him exposed. Most of my time fighting him was just going in close to him to trigger an attack and if it wasnt the one that left him open, id retreat and repeat. The infernal skeletons put up more of a fight than him, to be honest.
The hardest 3 bosses I've faced in recent years: 1- The Forgotten One 2- Sigrun from God of War (harder than Gna and the Berserker King from Ragnarok because I was used to the gameplay) 3- 'God' from Silent Hill 3 I have considered playing FromSoftware games (especially Sekiro), but if the bosses are harder in those games than the 3 I mentioned, then maybe I should avoid them.
