I love how as strong as Alucard is, he was clearly off his game still from the events of last season, and as he was starting to get over powered he knew he couldn't do this alone, hence why he was so happy to see Trevor & Sypha when they showed up 😏🤯😎

Dude just used his sword and none of all the other powers he has, and in your vision he was "overpowered"? The entire scene was just there to show what happens next, the writers choose to not show hin kiling everthing with a flying sword or super speed, not even talking about the other powers. This interpretation thing can go wild on peoples head.

Carmilla really thought she could take Dracula's castle and defeat him - I'd be surprised if she could even take on Alucard.

Carmilla really did overestimated herself to take on Dracula himself. But to be fair I think she was a bit stronger than Alucard 1v1. And if Alucard is not careful enough could very well end up dying.

@@jansandman6983Alucard survived his father when they fought the 1st time. He became stronger after that. Carmilla actually stands no chance against Alucard.

I read somewhere that Carmilla comes second in strength to only Dracula. This makes me think she is tied with Alucard. I think he has to give it all he has to beat Carmilla; if he doesn’t, he can very likely lose. Watch her final fight with Isaac - you’ll see the full extent of her power. In addition to her physical strength, her sheer will and fury add to her fighting prowess.

Can Alucard use divine magic/ Thaumateurgy because he is half-human. Is that why his sword is blessed? Because blessed materials, like water for example, burn undead/ infernal creatures with blue flames. So maybe because Alucards a Dhampir that he is also capable of using holy powers?

it's because of his mother's blood rather than being a dhampir. Lisa came from a lineage of monster hunters also in fact the sword of alucard is the inheritance from her mother

The sun doesn't kill him and he doesn't need blood to live so yah think he can have Holly water thrown on him and it do nothing. But not sure they never say what he can and can't do in the show. So it's up to interpretation but I'm sure if he had kids those kids will be more human so they might be able to.

Dracula was versed in holy and demonic magics, so no doubt Alucard learned the same type of Thaumaturgy his father did, and his sword was constructed for that very purpose

I hate that that ABSOLUTE NOBODY get to be show fighting on par with the characters we spent several seasons with and watched them grow. And she doesn't even have any story reason to be that good at fighting.

@@DoctorM42 They gender swapped Grant Danesti with Greta Danesti, the only story is she sent a messenger to look for the Ruler of Wallachia and it happened to be Alucard who came in person with her Gypsy camp being cornered by the monsters.

They took cannon abdolute nobody, then genderswapped him and made her a badass for clearly ideological reasons that have nothing to do with a plot or story structure. This show had started high but every season it's quality inches one step down, just because authors want to preach their politics once they get the tribune.

@@DoctorM42 I think some changed characters worked, such as Isaac being Dracula’s slave that he renamed Isaac. I mean a villain has to be despised, so making Dracula a racist slave owner fits for him being a villain. The part where they screwed up in this series was Count Dracula after Season 2. Dracula is supposed to be an arch-villain that comes back over and over again.

It does bother me that they dident use the chokepoints of the castle to their advantage. Outnumbered and outmatched and yet they still choose to stand in the field and meet the charge with a spear wall. I mean fair enough balls of steel but also not exactly an optimal defensive possition : o

You know…for plot reasons it wouldn’t make sense like what-so-ever, but…I feel cheated out of an epic battle between Isaac and his horde, vs Alucard. We saw him going toe to toe with, and surpassing, Carmilla and she was literally going more and more insane with each passing moment in their battle because of her raw anger. Could you imagine a calmer, more battle hardened Alucard doing better against Isaac? It’s just one of those epic battles that makes zero sense in the story but would have been quite something to witness.

So how about a hypothetical? If you guys were gonna attack this castle with a horde of night creatures and vampires how would you of done it? I think rushing in like this really screwed then over. I think a siege would of been more effective.

Definitely. Starving them to death probably wouldn't work because of how much food Dracula had stacked in his castle for his army, but i think they should weaken them for some time by magic or cannons and then raid it with the giant beast.

@@andrewthechad5846 True. It was pretty stupid for them to bring the Gergoth in very late. It should have been the first as it would have fired beams to lay siege on the castle from a very long distance. Dragan is mighty strong as a vampire general. Perhaps 2nd or 3rd to Dracula's. But he's pretty stupid for a general. Imagine if he joined the fight when his 4 subordinates were fighting the trio. They would have killed the trio easily as he is able to stand toe to toe against the three altogether while the others were actually able to immobilize both Alucard and Sypha. Dragan is all brawns, no brain. XD

Not sure. Possibly because since it first got raided by Carmilla's legion and our trio, Alucard, and later village, didn't finish maintenance. It's biggest advantage was clearly teleportation. Storytelling really dropped off in last season, like Leonore diplomat deciding it is better to die than to negotiate with Isaac or Hector not even trying to stop her by calling her out on her relatively rash decision or calling our her hypocrisy how she had no issues making him a slave, so she at least owes him to not give up that easily. Death appearing when Germain would have performed it even without his interruption and so on. At least it's not as bad as some other series when it comes to endings.
