Drac better be ready, there's nothing scarier than your wife, bro.
Yeah. Alucard imitates Trevor & Sypha; Having made dolls of them - Which his imitations are *Quite* accurate! - one second, & the next he's like: "Oh God. I killed my dad. I am going crazy. Has it been only a month?" *SO* relatable!!!
@@Robert_Rankin sensible? I mean I’m going to steal a comment from another vid but the trio share one brain cell, Sylpha has it for 23 hours of the day yes but the hour Alucard has it she does stuff like teleport castles on top of them
@@whydidyoupressthegokubutto3396 she didn’t summon Dracula’s whole castle on them. She just put it a short distance away, I think like right next to it
I work with a Salvadorean guy. He greets me with a “sup you white bitch” and then tries to grapple me while slapping my ass. I reply with “well if it isn’t my favorite Mexican” and go straight for a ball tap. If he doesn’t tell me to go fuck myself at least a few times, I know he’s having a rough day.
And in-universe, a few hours ago Trevor attempted to kick this Alucard's nuts. To which he replied "Oh please, have some class this isn't some bar fight."

@@iatekids1810 his parents met around 20 years before his mother was burned at the stake. We don't know how long it took before they started dating and when exactly the married and Alucard/Adrian was conceived, but it very likely took longer than a year so he has to be under 20 years old
I love how Sypha just looks like a long suffering mother refereeing her two man kids, and how said man kids wait until she's out of earshot before getting in one last dig at each other!! 🤣🤣
Ironic considering one of these man kids ends up giving her a kid of her own one day. Guess she has some hidden lust for man kids despite being the sensible mother.
Sypha's face in the end basically steals the spotlight. That look of " *suuuuure* " and the following lines from Trevor and Alucard are pure comedy and character description gold.
So Sypha's the 3.5 wizard with metamagic up the ass, Alucard the Munchkin and Trevor the fighter who somehow picked all the useless skills and is just doing his best trying any out of the box tactic possible because he knows that the DM likes them. Because I wanted to do a Castlevania themed oneshot and that's probably exactly how it would end up.
I think that may have been by design. If only we had grant in the group too it'd be perfect. We'd have the exasperated mage, the aloof swordsman, the blunt fighter, and the snarky rogue
All I know is that every fightscene where Trevor does anything makes me want to build a Dex fighter who only uses a Whip, and find a DM who will let me do some real non-RAW-supported bullshit with it.
@@samsonguy10k they're both 18-20 and Alucard has only been stated to age to maturity mentally and physically faster. That being said this is like 90% of men regardless of age
It's good that they made this Rated R, All of us castlevania fans are old and we get this kind of joke. Me and my friends talk shit to eachother all the time but it's all in good fun.
Well the serious subject matter is what really earns its R rating. Genocide on the human population because they wrongfully killed your wife for being a witch is some really deep shit.
@@jacobmonks3722 don’t forget the blood, guts, and overall brutal gore. Avatar (Last Airbender) had genocide and killing of innocent people, but is rated Y-7 which means it’s fine for 7 year olds.
@@CalmClamFam Brutal?Bruh I have seen a woman cut up a guy's di*k and intestines with a knife irl (don't ask the story it's horrible) when I was 14 castlevania ain't got shit on me even though I'm a adult now.
At the rate they are doing things, next season might even have 12 episodes... But that would also mean it would take a much longer time before it becomes available.
I must confess that 4 episodes wasn't enough for me, but 8 is just fine. I understand your wish tho, this series is REALLY that good. If that cheers you, season 3 was being worked on ever since before the release of the 2nd :D
The thing is it was originally meant to be a series of movies instead of seasonal. This is why the first season was only 4 episodes: it was supposed to be a 2 hour long movie.
The reason seasons 1&2 are short is that it wasn't originally a show. It was going to be 3 movies, but Netflix thought it'd be cheaper to animate 4 television episodes(season 1) than a 90 minute movie. Essentially, in episode form, there are frames of animation that can be reused throughout an entire show's runtime, premier to finale, whereas anime movies often require unique frames and animations all throughout the runtime, which often leads to greater expense.
@@swordsmancs I actually forsaw him doing that right as Trevor was talking, didn't expect it to happen, so I started cracking up. God bless Warren Ellis.
Alucard: "Oh please, we're not children." (Not even 10 seconds later) Trevor: *"E a t s h i t a n d d i e ."* Alucard: *"Y e s , f u c k y o u ."* Edit: Why the fuck does this have 10k likes? I was just repeating what was said in the video wtf this is the most likes I've ever gotten-
"Oh, please, we're not children." As soon as Sypha has gone: Belmont: "Eat shit and die." Alucard: "Yes, fuck you." Both laughs. This cracks me up every time I watch the series. 😂🤣
When compared to most prior depictions which include; very manly looking under a hood, and later a woman trying to dress up like a man. This version is based off her SotN look but with shorter hair.
By insulting and threatening each other? My friends are all awkward nerds who live in an overly PC environment so we barely talk to each other even when we are together, and when we do we have to walk on eggshells to avoid offending someone. Or is that just me?
@@blacky8987 "She is Weak" Ummm... you watched the same series as the rest of us, right? Sypha and Alucard are the MVPs. Trevor is powerful too, but he is still a little out of practice and doesn't have any special powers to give him the edge in battle. He has the Vampire Killer, but what good will that do if Dracula or another vampire just rushes at you and slices your throat out?
@UltimateGeek i mean you cant compare them all. This is a bit grounded to what i think you trying to compare this series too. I can name alot of anime that basically 50 shade of the other. This one is quite unique with no chosen one or super galaxy universe ending ability. No harems and the generic he cant compete in the beginning then shit nobody can stop him now. I really dont miss this one.... the sasuke naruto relationship. Like after they make up. He left and thats it. He stopped chasing him. Like wtf. The build up over nothing. Well thats my opinion at least. Name one that tops this series right now. Without any of the above.
@UltimateGeek lol really jojo? So its like comparing this to gintama lmao. Attack on titan again the guy is the generic puss cake then all of a sudden beats everyone like dominoes. Only best part of that anime was the mystery. Now that its all out of the bag its all confusion and stuff out of my butt plot. (Time skip6 years later). Fmab really?? Didnt you see the first one. Where he sacrificed his whole being to save his brother. No alchemy and in another dimension. Better ending than that im going to beat this guy with punches then please take my alchemy and bring back my brother. Edward elrics stick arm is so strong he threw a spear that destroyed a god childs face(for fcking real). Berserk?? The fck.. is that the old goblin slayer? NGE.... i rather watch cowboy bebop or chobits or actual gundam series fck even aldnoah zero would do. And if anybody is going to say My hero academia please just walk away. Deku is somewhere crying crying crying crying crying and sasuke is angry angry angry angry and pervy sage is dying dying dying dying. And deku is the chosen chosen chosen nine tailed fox.
@UltimateGeek sorry bakugo, i just finished binged watching this series a while ago and im fanboying big time. 🤣 all im saying is i cant compare them to others since i love them all equally in their own seperate titles.this one is a breath of fresh air for me.
@UltimateGeek I mean, there's A LOT of parts that the characters just get some bs power up and turn into a cooler super saiyan. Like part 3 (Star Platinum can stop time now, I guess), part 4 (Koichi), part 5 (GER is shounen anime in a nutshell, but it's cool anyway), part 7 (ACTO FOWA).
@@jmb72390 I mean, i'm not endorsing genocide, but if i was married to Lisa and lost her at the stake my wrath would have no hold, no suicide bullshit from me, just death for all of them
Ah, her face says it all. Still love the “good thing I decided not to kill you” exchange. And then proving her point after she left. It would be hilarious if she heard that last exchange between them.
I think there's a scene in an episode in the season that explains why. Something about rapidly growing up in his youth (as in physically maturing fast) then mix in his family drama. Trevor was essentially his first friend outside the castle. So he's acting out the childhood friendship he never had.
Well at this point Alucard is like 15 years old but ages rapidly. He's a philomath and more well read than most humans, but he's not developed emotionally. This is before we see the broken and depressed Alucard of Symphony.
I always wonder why people thought that vampires hadn't sense of humor.in my fan fics Alucard is funny Dhampire with sarcastic and spicy sense of humor, who likes to make fun with his friends
Coorscajunrice if you know anything about curse of Darkness look back at Zead and how they protrayed Issac in this I have a feeling they are setting Issac up to become death
YubYu sounds like a convoluted symphony of night spin-off title. And how does a person become death in the castlevania universe. There isn’t a death already? This better not be expanded universe
Coorscajunrice curse of Darkness is a direct sequel to Castlevania 3 which the show is based on they already have taken liberties with this show to begin with.
one thing I'm really impressed is how they convey their emotion so well. like here even with all these insults, you can tell they were in buddy mood and joking. but their tones became noticeably but not glaringly different in Belmont estate enough to tell that they were being kinda harsh and upset
Yes, this! I am so happy someone else noticed this as well! Alucard was definitely getting on Trevor's nerves by throwing clownish jabs in the middle of something so emotionally heavy for Trevor.
I absolutely love Sypha's "exasperated mom" energy when Trevor and Alucard take digs at each other, and I love the chuckle they share that is only possible between true friends.
Their friendship and brotherhood is great!!! Very humanistic to have such dialogue in this series. I don’t think the Nocturne series can top this original series.
I just love that Alucard is and looks like the stereotypical coolest, stoic Anime character but then he is as foul mouthed, silly and funny as Trevor. This scene and when he starts mocking Trevor and Sypha with the little rag dolls was so funny and truthfully made the show so much better.
I love Sypha int his show, she is cute, gorgeous and totally badass, the fight that she had agisnt Dracula was amazing I was like "Damn, she is badass" she super op and I'm perfectly fine with that.
