Engine oil friction test. Two oils are tested at 100°C and on the same sample. The test shows under what load the oil film will break.
The following parameters are tested: temperature at the moment of stopping the machine (the lower the temperature the better), number of weights (the more weights the better, weight of 1 weight = 500g), measurement of the gouge in the sample (the lower the result the better). All the parameters are entered in a summary table.
