I don't have a bridge piercing but I got a (standard) industrial done recently and that's usually rumoured to be one of the most painful ones, yet it didn't hurt at all for me and the healing process has been extremely easy. I would say it is very luck based tbh, for pain and healing. Find a good piercer, check out their portfolio and stalk the hell out of reviews and stuff, take someone you trust with you for emotional support and make that phone call for the appointment. The joy the new piercing will give you will be immeasurable, dw :) Even if it does hurt a lot, it's temporary but the joy and satisfaction out of succesfully healing it will last a long time
