Finally! Your video is the only one that gets right to it for the MK demonstration with the correct product. So tired of listening to 5-10 minutes of dribble before a MK video actually starts. Many of the MK/YT videos have erroneously been titled for a product that was never shown or demonstrated. Have to kiss a lot of frogs before you get a prince.

I am so glad to hear that! When I tell people I use Mary Kay foundation, they seem shocked, but it’s truly the best! I am a makeup junkie, I try everything from Clinique to Dior, and I have never found anything yet that I like more than my Mary Kay. I love the Mary Kay liquid foundation too, the 3D Matte formula! Try that sometime too!

@@AshleyEvansMUA i will definitely try the matte foundation!! i am just sooo happy. foundation never looks good on me, except for mineral powder (bare minerals) or MK cc cream and this cream foundation is just the best stuff i have ever tried. it doesn't even look like i'm wearing makeup, it's like my face looks perfect but natural!! LOL. i love it!!!

For some reason I’m just seeing your comment now! I think this formula would be great for any age skin! The 3D liquid foundations from Mary Kay are great too! They have a luminous for dry skin, and a matte for combo to oily… all of their foundations are wonderful! I will say, my top seller is the 3D matte foundation, and I have a lot of older clients who use and love it!

I have been looking for reviews on this makeup. I never used Mary Kay foundation, I was interested in this item and enjoy the review you did. Now I just need to figure out my shade and order it thx for the review.

Hi, thanks for watching! I love the Mary Kay foundations, both the cream to powder and their liquid is fantastic. I will say the liquid ones have a better shade range though! If you need help deciding on a shade let me know, I’m actually good at shade matching just by asking some questions!

Oh wow ok, I'm Native American my skin tone has some yellow. I wasn't sure if I should get beige 2,3 or 4. I do have an independent sales consultant but she's on vacation now and don't know when she'll be back. When I use Estee lauder I have to mix cashew and sand together to get my shade. What do you suggest?

What color creme to powder would I use if I'm in beige n150 luminous? Can you use this if you tend to be dry?

Hi! According to the MK foundation conversion chart, it looks like shade BEIGE 1 would be your match in the Creme To Powder! These look a bit darker in the compact, than what they are when they’re on your skin, so just FYI! And yes, you can enjoy this as a dry skin type, just be sure your skin is properly moisturized before applying!!!! Thanks so much for watching, let me know if I can be of any more help!

I bought the same ivory 5 and it turned out to be so dark and I have fair skin like you. I saw you had two color foundations inside the palette so maybe you use a different shade number of foundation. what was the other lighter one you had there?

Hi! I do have 2 shades in the compact, the lighter one is the Ivory 5, and the other is a bronze shade that I use for my contouring. But I was using the ivory 5 as my foundation. If it is too dark you could try ivory 4, it’s lighter but the same undertone!

I think the lighting in videos can be a bit deceiving in videos. I’m a light skin tone but not super fair.

Hi from Los Angeles 🌸👋🏼I’m thinking about getting this foundation. I can’t find a description of shades online. I think we are the same skin tone, but I go back n forth between neutral & rosy. Sometimes neutral shades are too yellow, or grey lol, then sometimes the rosy shades are too pink/blue on me. I look best in silver jewelry. I saw you also wore 1N2 Ecru in Estée Lauder in another video. Then you switched to 2C3 Fresco, which I also wanted to try because the Ecru is too light. I didn’t like EL 2N1 Desert Beige- it looked too beigey-grey on me. To make a long story short lol, do you know which Mary Kay crème to powder is neutral in the same depth of the one you are using? Just in case the Ivory 5 is too pink on me? There’s a Mary Kay chart online but it only gives the shade name and no description of the shade. My daughter says the 2N in Dior Backstage is a good match for me, but as it oxidizes, I notice it’s kind of peachy/orange. In Clinique, I’ve worn Fair (cool but has a blue cast), and Alabaster (N) the latter one being too light. This is why I don’t like shopping for foundation. I get so frustrated trying to find the right shade. Recently, I got the new Loreal Serum foundation, I like it a lot. I went for the Rosy shade because the Neutral looked way too yellow. I noticed in pictures right under light, there was that blue cast. I’m ready to order this Mary Kay Ivory 5 shade on Amazon but then I thought I’d better use the foundation finder online- you know the one that tells you which shade to go with- that thing has spit out numerous different shades and now I’m completely confused.😐 Sorry for the long message. Hi! I think you’ll love this if you find the right shade. I will say, the ivory 5 is VERY pink, since this video I have actually switched to ivory 4 and I think based on what you’re describing, I think the ivory 4 would be a good match for you as well!!! Let me know how you like it! If you don’t have a MK rep, my link is in the description! I know what you mean about foundations turning gray… and Estée Lauder’s are notorious for that on me. I’ve never had any MK foundations turn gray on me, their shades are usually good! But yes, try ivory 4 and I think you’ll be happy!

@@AshleyEvansMUA You're a sweet person. Your videos are awesome and I still have lots to catch up on. I’ll still wear the EL 1N2 Ecru till it runs out but I know it's too light. I didn't exchange it on time. Lol I have sensitive skin but not overly sensitive. I was only wearing Clinique for years. I finally decided to branch out. Anyway, I'll give this a try. I'd order from you but I'm so fickle with foundation, I can't put you through that. I'll let you know how it works out. Oh and I tried Nars a few years ago, just couldn't find a shade match. I really thought I liked the Nars Radiant but I ordered the shade Patagonia after trying numerous other shades.OMG I must've looked ridiculous in person after I saw myself in pictures at a family reunion. The shade was too warm 🥵 & peachy and too dark. Sante Fe shade was a bit dark and just too orangey, Fiji was too yellow, Deauville was too light and too yellow- I could go on & on. I gave up on Nars. @@AshleyEvansMUA I received the Mary Kay -Ivory 4 and it’s a perfect match! As a matter of fact, I almost can’t tell that I am wearing foundation because the color is such a close match to my skin. It’s a beautiful foundation. No white/grey cast. Amazing! Thank you so much for your help.😊🌸🌻🌷

Hi! For the Creme to Powder foundation I’m actually using the Too Faced Mr. Perfect foundation brush. I also like the Mary Kay liquid foundation brush with this as well!

I do not. That was such a great color, I'm sad they discontinued it. They did bring back Downtown Brown, because of popular demand. I would recommend e-mailing MK from their website and just tell them you'd love for Raisinberry to come back... you never know!

If you have large pores, I don’t think this would be your favorite. However, you would love the liquid foundation, the TimeWise 3D Matte… it’s super smoothing and a nice medium coverage, refines pores and doesn’t settle! The foundation primer also helps prevent that!
