Oooh, I never swapped in the new Grasta with the boost during Awakened Zone for my Wind team! I'm not even sure I found or bought it yet, I have to change that, thanks for.the reminder !
I'm liking your Null Team ! I don't have one myself, and I would use someone else instead of Flammelapis, but the concept is interesting ! I wonder if you could use this one for the Lavog fights (sorry, this is all I'm talking about right now, those fights are hard and take me multiple attempts before I make progress, so I think about it a lot)
I'm not too keen on Flammelapis AS either. She has not been helpful past the third turn. I've tried some variations without her, but she is pretty sturdy so if nothing else, she can usually take the hits that Iphi redirects to her.
I love your Earth Team ! Mine is pretty similar, I'm using Necoco AS instead of Bertrand. She can provide both buffs and debuffs, so she's pretty awesome. I positioned Claude ES at Myunfa's left, so he is my "support tank". I managed to beat Lavog (the earth one) with this setup, just by switching one Grasta holder in the back for Radias AS, her Guard skills being useful in the last phase.
@@casualcronolv99 Thanks ! I don't have a mean to record gameplay, but if you have any questions (now, or later, when you want to tackle the fight), you know you can always ask, I'll do my best to answer!
something to note (or at least I have noticed) on Hismena Alter (and I guess others in this water setup) is that her Another Zone buffed up skills only work in AWAKENED ZONE. Another Zone is described in the wiki as Awakenned Zone so do take that into consideration. While tackling my most recent blocking superboss (the fire dragon on the tournament) I attempted multiple strats with my current comp using her as my damage dealer. It just doesn't work because I don't have anyone who can multi-Awaken water zone, so I've resorted to using my (non-SA Jilfunny) which does make more damage even outside Another/Awakenned Zone but I still couldn't finish this boss, since at the later stages of that fight it becomes really tricky to both survive and prevent his zone-breaking skills. Even with water OPs such as Toova ES, Elseal, and even Ilulu Alter, I haven't managed that fight yet. Note:I don't have Felmina ES. Her Codices have been a hard NO to me on the RNG since I started playing in february.
@cldpt Sorry to hear her codexes aren't dropping, it's frustrating I know. I haven't tried the fire dragon yet. I finished the sorcerer tier and got the lepid katana and that's the last thing I've done with the tournament. Now you're making me curious about this fire dragon. Other youtubers don't have any strategies you can use?
Watching your Water team setup, and we have a pretty similar setup ! I have Elseal instead of Hismena Alter. She's a buffing machine, but lacks the damage impact Hismena can have. I don't understand Dunarith Alter yet, as well. He tanks, and doesn't die immediately, but I lack sustainability. I managed to defeat a superboss with this team (One from the Hunting Target from Into the Hollow Partb2), but while it's a good start, I feel I have yet to improve it further. (For example, I'm unable to defeat Lavog Water with it as of today)
I just pulled Elseal on that 10-character banner, so I have already replaced Hismena Alter. Sounds like we are now identical. Like you, or perhaps we're finally in sync with our thoughts, I'm still not happy with the team for a long-term fight, but it is a lot better. Guess we can both keep tweaking!
Honestly I've never used Orleya NS before. As for AS, I like her gimmick. Turning enemy attacks into thunder and then reducing thunder damage is nice. Damage reduction, cover, heals, prayer, major support buffs...she's pretty awesome all around. I wish I had her at 80 points for the extra skill slot though; she's one that I feel could benefit a lot from having four. I kinda wish I had a use for the thunder team more than I do; I'd like to use her a lot more and test out her capabilities further.
@@casualcronolv99 Alright, thanks. As far as I can tell, the NS has one of the strongest debuffs in the game, reducing PWR/INT by 50% while healing 3000HP and removing all Status. Basically, as long as you play around that skill being "Delayed", she's a viable alternative to Tetra.
