See now this is what the sonic franchise is all about for me. Character interaction in this franchise can be so deep and that's really what separates sonic from other animated games/shows. Media like sonic x and sonic adventure really emphasize the importance of character interaction to maintain a personality in a character which is something you don't really see in similar franchises like Mario. I think that's also why your work is so fascinating to me because you manage to get these characters right so often it really is a testament to how powerful the franchise is when it comes how how consistent they've built their characters over the years. Wonderful work as always you make my day and many others better with your wholesome posting 😊

The signs of affection and concern for one another, as well as Sonic noticing how Amy must feeling off if she isn’t doing what she normally does (that is being more willing to opening up instead of closing herself off), show how strong their friendship and love relationship is. And their friends observing from a distance with admiration (and a silly comment from Sticks) is a nice touch. Very well done.

When I watched the first Sonic movie, it was the big springer that got me intrigued in character, but when I watched one of your videos, that helped me get into this franchise. What’s my point? I just appreciate people who make an effort to do their own spin on cartoon characters without sacrificing how charming they are and making them even better in some cases. Everyone has those days where they just feel sad and down in the dumps without any apparent reason. I've had plenty of those. Sometimes you just need to sit through it and find something you like to help you get by for the day. But a nice, big hug from someone you love in those moments can mean the absolute world.

The animation is amazing 👏 the casual body language conveys everything

Honestly, as I've studied Sonic's character, it seems he's not one for physical affection. He rarely initiates anything other than casual high fives and fist bumps. He's not opposed to others hugging him, but often when someone does, even if it's someone like Tails, he'll pull away pretty fast. But he still does do it on occasion, and those occasions are the most important ones because you know he's going out of his comfort zone for it and must really value whoever he's showing affection to. 🥰

See it's this type of relationship between these 2 that's the best. These fan comics, the Boom show, and IDW basically have them much more open and casual with each other. And it feels more natural. Unlike most other versions where Amy is a creepy stalker, and Sonic vanishes whenever she's nearby. Hopefully if Amy is in movie 3 they stick to this type of relationship.
