Look at the SIZE of that backhoe. Holy smokes. Kevin looks like he's 3 feet tall @6:00.

Amazing machine!! Full stretch out left or right to grade, the boom hit's leg cylinder! Dig close left or right, you dig the foot!! Lift the legs up and the feet throw dirt against the glass window?? Can't dig next to a wall or fence either Kev! The Case has 202 degrees on the rear bucket! Walk around one of you're SIDESHIFT backhoes Kev, ........Much better!!

Nice overview. One thing though. You mentioned that the 450F will take augers, but as of today 21 July 2016, when I look through Caterpillar's backhoe loader attachment catalogue, there isn't an auger available for the 450F. The A26B auger, if I'm not mistaken, will fit only up to the 430F. So, is there an auger for the 450F, or isn't there? Would really appreciate your reply on this. Thanks.

So does it have an actual electric air compressor that I can tap into to air up the tires if needed?

There good for some jobs but for bigger jobs use a excavator to keep digging and a wheel or track loader with a quick coupler and the excavator has got 360 degree turn as far as moving your spoil pile alway from the trench but they are good for some things but prefer the excavator thanks

C'mon Kevin, Where's the sideshift?? A hundred reasons why that c-pivot is inferior to a s-shift. I thought CAT were leaders in construction, yet you insist on pushing '60's style equipment in the north American market. Let's demo one and move forward..!

Deere 710!! Deere makes the best backhoe you can get. The 710 is the largest beast of them all. Cat your 450 isnt quite there
