great review, I am going to buy one tomorrow. kinda wonder how they compare to a 304. we like the size and ease to transport in a dump trailer. we are just looking to dig for now. 645 hr like yours for 39k
Would you ever have the need for an additional counter weight? Make it more stable for your lifts? Did you think of a smaller machine since you do not dig that deep with your projects? Hanks for postings
I don't think we have a need for a counter weight. Power wise it maxes out before tipping... over the blade at least. This is the smallest machine I would purchase actually. Not because of digging but because of the weight factor.
btw, there's one big advantage to the canopy versus the enclosed cab: you can easily remove the canopy to get under low-clearance areas to work in. Who knows, you might get a job someday that requires it.
This tractor is absolutely awful. The best thing about it is the floating blade. But that alone doesn't justify to buy. The company I work for went from 35G and 50G john deer's to these. This excavator has no back fill power. No side swipe power whatsoever. It's all the tractor can do just to turn around. Controls are very laggy compared to john deer. Oh and by the way ever single one we have gotten has leaked hydrolic fluid from where ever it can leak from. Less than 10 hours of use. Do what you want, but many people including myself to not suggest you get this. Have a blessed day
good to now. I currently have a 303.5c cr and have been thinkin of trading it in. Only other 35 I've run is a deere and it has nowhere near the power of my cat. Way smoother though. So far I emailed my local kubota, case and cat dealer on prices on new ones and cat is the only one thats gotten back so far.
