I work for a Trimble dealer in the US and recently set up a 309 with an Engcon and 2D earthworks and couldn't help but think the 307.5 without the swing boom would deal with the weight of a tiltrotator better. Also I don't know if you've found it yet but you can change the response speed of the controls in the machine settings menu. Beautiful machine, enjoy it!
I have set response to high, and speed of boom/bucket/dipper to slow for best precision. I probably would have gone for a 310 with tilt-rotator over a 309 myself, but I guess its all client preference. Thanks for watching!
I want to run a tilt rotator so badly. These next gen machines are sweet aren't they? I ran a next gen 320 a few months back and didn't want to get out of it.
