Thanks for watching! 🙂 Those are rubber strings, mounted to protect the boom cylinders from rock spray! Especially when using a hydraulic breaker, the cylinders are exposed to damage!😉 We use them on every machine that's been fitted for a breaker! Cheers back from Bernhard in Norway! 🙃🇧🇻
That looks like miserable material to load all day. I like the sandy loam we have here in Michigan. It heaps great and loads like butter. Thanks for the vid!
Hi! Thanks for your comment and for watching! 🙂 Hehe, you hit the nail with your suspicion, must say I kind of envy you guys that's working with sand and gravel..😅 However, this was a fine blast, very nice to load out compared to other blasts..🙈😆 Have a look at another video at my channel, where the blast made the 352 close to useless..🤪 Incab by night, struggling to load.. Must say that I am very satisfied almost never having to operate so small excavators anymore, my 390 F are a far better match to Norwegian blasted rock😍😅 I have several videos with 390 F, 374 F and a 988 H more recently, if you search through my channel! Still dreams of loading sand and gravel though...😆
Hehe, I couldn't agree more!🤩😅 So, you have been playing with large excavators yourself? Have you moved on to something else to do, or are you maybe retried? My next project, will be to move 250 000 m3 of dirt, I am really looking forward to work with loose materials after 2 years with nothing but blasted rock😅 However, the plans to do it with the 390 were changed because of pretty soft ground.. My 390 will have a small break waiting for a new large project after summer, while I will work with a 374 F with wider tracks🤪
@@norwegianearthmovers I worked for a large excavation company and was around 385's and PC800's. I have since stopped operating so I don't get to sit in the seat like I used to but I miss it every day! That will be really nice to get away from the blast rock. That is hard on the body!
@@DieselandIron I see!😋 Seems like you are quite familiar with big machines and what I do for a living! I know exactly what you think of, when it comes to missing the action of doing a lot every pass, every load and every day! The feeling of being part of big changes in short time, is hard to beat!😅 I feel that my two weeks of on leave are long, must admit that I get restless after a week, wanting to go back to work..🤪 Well, yes it is going to be good to handle something else than rock! The backside, is that the material is so soft and wet after what I hear, so the 374 F barely floats..😄 We'll see how it turnes out! 😅
Richard Hansson Takk! Jeg er veldig fornøyd! Maskina forbauser meg fortsatt, selv etter over 600 timer i bruk. Rask, sterk og stødig! Den parkerer alt annet!!
Swanty32e - Machine & Truck Videos From Norway .. Ja der kan du se! Nei, jeg er ikke så oppdatert.. Er på LinkedIn da, men ikke så aktivt! Jeg har bare ikke sett nytten av å være med i Facebook...
This was the first video I watched of yours, 4 years ago. I didn't comment at the time but doing so now to show how long I've been a fan. I'm no longer a fan tho, we're besties now🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have been going back and forth through all your videos to watch those that I missed over the years. Hehe some people watch movies while others watch Norwegian Earthmovers channel, to each his own🤣🤣
Wow, I knew that you have been watching my stuff for a long time, but this shows me that you actually are one of those few that has really sticked with me in the long run!😍🙏 I really appreciate it, I’m honored by your interest for what I do!💙 I think I remember you started to comment when I made one of my first videos with my 390?🤭 Your comments has been easy to remember, due to my first and your last name.😄 And I’m honored by being considered as a friend!🤗 Experiences like this, is one of the parts that’s most inspiring for me through my channel! To get to know people through the same passion is awesome, and I have had the honor of getting to know another few as well over the time I have had this channel!🤗 I would rather have friend than fans, and as far as it goes, you may consider me your friend as well!🙏
@@norwegianearthmovers of course I do. You are one of the very few persons on RU-vid who actually take the time to engage their viewers and trust me it is well appreciated. All the best.🥂
Hi!🙋♂️ Well, about every material in Norway is so hard, that many teeth on the buckets would make the ground hard to penetrate.😅 You should see the video where I compare 4 and 5 tooth buckets on my 390, adding more teeth would make that pile almost impossible to handle!🙃 So, 4 teeth is the best setup here up north! For soft and wet materials, we use buckets without teeth.😋👌
Hi!🙂 This is a drop ball, made of some special alloy steel! Don't know exactly what steel, but it is very dense and soft, giving it extreme impact with it's 6 tons of weight! This drop ball was just one year old, but I have been using a ball that was 10 years old without to much wear!😋
The bucket costs €20000 So i was told but the guy didnt know how much the new 352f cost They were unhappy with the Cat 349s. The contractor had bought 4 352Fs and a 374F
nl1cat Hi! No, this video was made at a great railway project near a town called Ski in Norway! This part of the project, was to blast and load the rock in a cut and cover operation, to prepare for two tunnels that’s being drilled by tunnelmachines from Oslo!
Hey!🙂 Thanks for your advice! What you describe, was my intention back then, but I had to make a compromise to maintain a certain productions.. The hard spot in the cut couldn’t be ripped loose without making space into the blast, to be able to get a grip of it.. There was no hydraulic breaker available at the moment, so I just had to do it this way..🤪 Thanks for your comment, and for watching!😋
Brandon Estévez - It is rubber, protecting the boom sylinders from damage made of rocksplinters from hydraulic breaker and dropball. More or less standard on machines ment to work with blasted rock in Norway!
Randy Maylowski Thanks for watching! The screen is the monitor for the 3D GPS system on the machine. It gives me 3 different imiges of the bucket, with actual hight of the bucket regarding sealevel and compared to the project. All our projects have very accurate 3D files, with everything from cuts, fillings, trenches, manholes, pillars and more! All my buckets is meshured in to the system and calibrated. This gives me the opportunity to excavate with high presition close to 1 cm( under half an inch), without any surveyor on site, at all time!!! Even my hydraulic breaker is put imot the system, for breaking trenches in solid rock, in the right direction and theoretical hight for the project. With this system, I always know where I am and what the project is ment to look like when it's finnished. In the bottom of the screen, you can see the green line. The arrow in the middle of the line, points down to the actual finnished level of the project
Randy Maylowski No, this kind of machine guidence systems is not standard, even on the newest machines. It is pretty unique to Scandinavia, to use this on our machines. The cost is high, but we work more accurate an with higher presition!
Norwegian Earthmovers oh gotcha, and by the way sorry if I'm sounding noise if I'm sorry, but inerways you guys speak French caz all the time when your rodeo or talkie thing whatever you guys call it over there, inerways the guys don't sound like English so that's why I was asking.
Randy Maylowski It's ok! The language isn't French, but Norwegian. I understand it's impossible to understand for people that doesn't speak it themselves! Our intercom's is very important in our dayli production. Every machine, ADT or truck on our project has it, so we always have the opportunity to communicate with everybody on site. By doing this, we allways get updates, discuss challenges and find solutions together. Great instrument for teamwork!!
Joyblast Hva den har gått i dag, er jeg ikke sikker på siden jeg byttet firma for 8måneder siden.. 😉 Da videoen ble laget, hadde jeg vel kjørt den rundt 1000 timer😁
Jean Neymar Hi! The XE model has some extra features, compared to a standardmodel! It has built in CPM (Cat Production Measurement) that weighs every bucket and every load. Gives grat realtime statistisk over the production, and reduses risk of overload for the trucks. Grade Control for better precition by grading or excavating by a specific level, for those who doesn’t use GPS Machin controlsystem(this machine has an external GPS 3D model of the project in the yellow screen at left topside). The greatest difference compared to a standard model is the hydraulic system. There is no hydraulic pilot system here, every valve is electonic controlled, by electric levers! This gives much better performance, since the engine hasn’t been redused like with the «hybrids». Better oilflow gives more breakoutforce and more speed! All of these specs deliver an extrodinary performance, and saves a lot of fuel at the same time!! Tried to make this short,, but it’s a lot to explaine😅 Basicly a better machine! And Thanks for watching, by the way😉
Norwegian Earthmovers thank you for your answer, is it the same excavator here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n0GXZLZyzHg.html the bucket seems ro be very heavy !
Jean Neymar You are welcome!😉 Yes, it’s the same machine! I didn’t feel that he bucket was heavy when I was operating that excavator. But the buckets in Norway really needs extra weight compared to whats needed in other parts of the world!! The rock here is extremely abrasive, so we need special made buckets to load our blasted rock! This is an Extreme bucket from Gjerstad, it outstands the heavy wear, and supports the machine with great breakoutforce 😃 No problem to fill it with more than 3.2 m3, if the blast is good!😉 My own choise, and would choose the same again if I will get the opportunity once more!👍
INDieselfanatic- Hi! I am guessing you mean the artist "Arion". The song is called "At the break of dawn"! All songs in this video are played from the list "Metalqueens" on Spotify!
Joyblast Sins In Vain, med sangen Borderline helt i starten. Byttet til Arion, med At The Break Of Dawn ganske tidlig.
baca zterchovej IT is rubber mats we use to cover the moutain befare blasting. We have to use them for safety, we blast close to both railway and public road
