Man if would stop curling as soon as he hits the pile and drive in and boom up then curl he could get a full bucket I'm surprised the Forman wasn't going crazy with all those half buckets

Nice video, I run the same loader at a sand wash plant in wet/soft conditions and can get full buckets…. Not sure why this operator can’t….?

Man is his name Willie half bucket should have loaded that dumper with two buckets when I first started I would be ridiculed if I had half a bucket from my old man that's how I learned getting it tight from my dad

I agree with the other guys. In that material the bucket should be peaked to the back every time. Keep the bucket flat and on the deck when you go into the pile, roll the bucket FORWARD and back to load it. Train the truck to be 10-45* from your pickup line. A lot less steering involved faster loading. You hit a rut with your loaded bucket up in the air, you’ll wind up on your side. You could get another bucket on those trucks, load the front to the top of the box then work your way back until it runs off the back. If it’s got a diff lock use it when you go into the pile

I think that cat 988 is to large for that. Shouldn't have went larger than a 980
