My Mack truck with a 285 horse engine would only get up to 50 mph going down hill. I added one quart of atf to the fuel. I thought it might have helped. I added a quart of atf to every tank of fuel, after running it four weeks it was back to full power. Don't give up.
Ran an old side booms while still on a pipeline jobs 20 yrs ago now everything is hydraulic only me could start a pony on a job seems all the old timers now are gone or retired lost generation of critical thinkers who knew how to run friction. Idaho or?

Hi. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Cat's fuel injectors need to service, because of that smoking. Injectors are possible leaky and so they spray fuel too big drops into cylinders. Engine's sound also give me hint of leaky injectors.
