Their way of teaching/training how to fight to survive. My cat has two kittens and she does this to her two kittens, teaching/training them to bite the neck, grabbing and kicking.
Is it not dangerous or anything cuz I was scared when I saw her doing that.. Her pupils were dilated and she was following only one kitten.. (She has 5)
Dude the cat is training the kitten not hurting it. If it was the kitten would be yell and meowing loudly, and there would be blood everywhere. But that's not happening so it's not being hurt. There just play fighting or training. The kitten will be ok and plus if the kitten got hurt I bet the camera man would stop recording and stop the big cat. The kitten is alright 👍
@@Nadia..J no shit nature is cruel, but this older cat is obviously being too aggressive to another that's a lot smaller and can't defend itself properly, hence why it kept screeching out in pain, but since nature is cruel its totally fine for any bigger animal including ourselves to beat up on smaller animals than us! (Your logic.)
My cat's new kittens got an excellent teacher in their older brother for this. He's relentless and always stops when his little siblings meow just loud enough, but mama cat only watches on.
Damn! Brutal! Like a WWF match! Lol! I loved how that kitten's tail was whipping back and forth! Probably a little "survival of the fittest" instinct here. Mom testing kitten, preparing it for world. Or just having FUN! 😁
If that is not a grappling class I don’t know what it is. Choke holds, sweeps, take downs. Bite your heart out GSP! And where was Bruce Buffer during all this?
Actually it's not that the mom is teaching the kitten how to defend themselves better and be more voilent. Kittens are already naturally instinctively know how to best defend themselves. What the mom is doing here is teaching the kitten how to play without hurting her friends. How to do it without nails or harsh bites etc. You can see everytime the kitten naturally wants to bite and hurt, the mom calms her down
If that cat wanted to really hurt the kitten it would have been over really quick the kitten was in play mode and kept coming back if he was hurt he would have ran away
The weakest one is mostly get trained by mother, I've a feral in my backyard she delivered 3 kittens and she spent extra time for weakest and even after 3 months this one can't live a minute without mother. The other went fine but still check up on weakest one.
I just got an 8 week old kitten and my 6 month old cat does that to him. Is that normal? We usually separate them after a while when it looks like she’s being too harsh.
Thats a meaning that the cat is playing or cleaning the kittens and the kittens, idk why the kittens try to scratch her mom or the kitten also want to play or idk
Kitten : mama why are you hurting me I'll hurt you bakc meow meow meow Mama : child stop right now your so disrespectful your getting punished right now bad child
Advice needed: My 15 month old male cat and my new 13 week old male kitten are doing exactly this. However theres more chasing, until they end up rolling around together on the floor like in this video however they are also going to bite each others neck. Often leading one to meow outloud (mostly its the older cat that does this). Vet to me said this is aggresive play, and normal behaviour? theres never any wounds or blood. im stil not sure what to think. should i be splitting them up when one cries out or is this just play? any help or advice is appreciated
I hv 15 yrs of experience seeing so many cats ok.... I think separate them for atleast 10 more weeks by that time younger will become more strong, it's been bullied by elder one or else one day elder cat will wound younger v.bad for sure...
@@anupamat.c5181 sorry its actually the younger one that seems to be harrasing the older one. It all seems like play but then it goes too far until the older one of them meows, thats when i split them up because it seems to be a painful meow. Im not sure if all of this is just aggresive play.
