Lovely white and black cat is exploring the tesla coil plasma ball. Touching it, booping, and lighting up her beans with plasma. Curious little kitty scientist.
its so cute when cats encounter a new thing and just look at you to see how you react, to kinda judge if its safe. shows how much they trust their human
@@keeeeeh The crying emoji has multiple meanings. My friend's and I mostly used it as a "laugh so hard you cry" emoji which was used a lot on Facebook and IG and here on RU-vid. Honestly I've never used it as a sad emoji. Yeah it can be a "so cute I can't take it" emoji. Then there's the boring "actually crying because I'm sad" emoji that I almost never see anyone use that way, until recently, because it's actually sad 😢. Emojis have taken their own meanings. Look at the high five emoji. 🙏 It's mostly used as "praying hands"/"respect" emoji. Most people don't even know it's supposed to be a high five.
@@vigilant_1934 🤣🤣 Yes!!! And I don't even dare tell you the impure meaning that some people give to the praying emoji sometimes! ➡️🛐 I'm also not going to say that they use the almost crying emoji for the same meaning➡️ 🥺 (Begging seggs emojis) 😭😭😭
I live how the cat is genuinely curious about it. He just looks around like it’s never seen anything like it and is wondering if it’s safe to experiment or not.
Part of his curiosity is probably the sounds of the switching frequency of the flyback circuit, being a cat they can easily hear the high frequencies that isn’t the forte humans can normally hear >20Khz and the flyback transformer uses multiple of kHz. Edit: the corona discharge from the outside of the globe is also splitting oxygen molecules into an astable form known as ozone, which has a very particular smell which probably would have also intrigued the cat) Mentioning ozone, I also wonder how that would react to to a UV-C/A/B lamp?!?!
@@TheInsultInvestor Well, thankfully for her, I wasn't. I was using the term "beans" to refer to the lil' pawpads _on_ the cat's paw, as opposed to their paw in its entirety. More specifically in this context, I was reacting to around 1:15 where the light focuses prominently on four round, somewhat oblong shapes pressed against the glass. So, y'know. Beans. ...Hopefully that addresses any vagueness and/or confusion on the subject?
I had a cat that copied my nephew once. My nephew had taken parts of a newspaper and was sliding on them across the kitchen floor. Our cat Mickey saw my nephew do that and all of a sudden you see Mickey trying to manipulate the newspaper with his paws too. It was hilarious!
@@TheInsultInvestor Maybe you should know what your talking about before making ignorant statements! They’re called pads! Lol. The pads and claws are all part of the paw. Your tantrums are quite funny actually!
I was actually a little concerned. I had this idea that cats might have lower tolerances for electric current than we do, and it might hurt him with longer term exposure. Hopefully I'm wrong, I love plasma lamps!
@@TheInsultInvestor Who really is the moron here? Me, for calling them toe-beans, or you for throwing a childish tantrum over people calling them toe beans. Maybe you should talk to your therapist about this problem! 😂
Thanks, I have to admit that I am also happy with this angle. Wish I had a better camera at that moment though. But still happy about how it came out :)
"There are many stories about magical animals but really, apart from the dragon, the cat is the only creature which can absorb the force. No one knows why a cat absorbs it and what it does with it...” - Yennefer of Vengerberg
@@jameswilkes451 The cats always snorted/hissed at Geralt and he replied them something as (I don't know how it was translated to English): "Kitty, kitty !! - Was joking, I don't like you either".
@@stewrmo Yeah, my cat would for sure. He was TERRIFIED of some new shoes last week, for reasons known only to himself, & later beat the HELL out of them in revenge for scaring him & making him look like a wimpy-pants 😂 And ofc all cats ignore actual cat toys & beds, & just want shoelaces & cardboard boxes- it's probably one of the Ten Cat Commandments.
Yup, I expect this will explode. View number 4453 reporting in. I mean, cats did start the internet to spread their message that we all need one in our lives, didn't they?
I have one of these. When I taught the Science Lab and it was time for 4th grade's Weather Unit, they would make static electricity to see the sparks, and then they got to touch my plasma globe. They loved it. They also made tornado jars, made clouds in 2 liter soda bottles, and made it rain on top of the lab tables.
