Yes, indeed! Thx for big complimet Marty! What kind of interesting construction sites or quarries are around your living area?

There are no large major quarries in Central Illinois or within 30 minutes of my home in Savoy, Illinois. You would need to go up to the Chicago area for Quarries. I do live about 40 minutes from where most of Cat's mining arm of production machinery is located in Decatur, Illinois. It's interesting to see the loading area where a lot of the major mining equipment is leaving for the Oil Sands mining up in Alberta, Canada or to all the other massive mining operations going on world wide where Cat machinery is used. I've always been fascinated by the work that goes into shipping all the pieces to one major machine heading out on flat bed semi trucks. Ironically Ben, when I was 21 I was riding my off road motorcycle in a large sand quarry. I had climbed a large sand embankment on my bike and as I turned around to descend the whole wall gave way underneath me and I took a 70+ foot drop to the floor with my bike and tons of sand. My fall happened so fast. In fact, I doubted I fell that far when my Dad told me that was what the police measured. Despite the quick fall, I knew immediately that I was paralyzed from the waist down.When I landed the fuel tank broke and I was covered in gasoline and half of the bike was on top of me. I was fortunate that the hot exhaust pipe was not touching me. I was about a mile in the woods and quarry and It took about two hours of steady yelling for help before someone found me. The Gods must have been looking out for me because the guy who found me was a fireman who just happened to be at an outdoor event and he heard me yelling. I've spent the last 48+ years needing a wheelchair for mobility. I was fortunate to have had a strong family and a couple of life long friends who helped me through the rehab process. I've spent the last 45 years as a Olympic and Paralympic Coach. I've traveled the world and at 70 I am still as excited about my work as I've been since I graduated from the University of Illinois. I have had many interests over my lifetime and civil engineering is one of them. I enjoy what you do and respect the time and effort you put into your craft. I never tire of the variety of job sites you go to. It takes a passion for a craft to present such high quality videos as you produce almost daily. Thank you for providing me with something else to focus on other than high performance training of elite wheelchair athletes. @@BeytekinConstructionMachinery 😁👍🏻😅 Sollte ich vielleicht langsam auch machen, zwei eigene weitere Kanäle könnte ich tatsächlich auch aktivieren, die sind automatisch/zwangsläufig durch Google entstanden, derzeit aber von mir unbenutzt. Mittlerweile funktionieren bei mir nicht mal mehr die Shorts - zugegeben, mein aktuelles Kurzvideo ist auch mal was ganz anderes, obwohl immer noch zum Hobby gehörend...😶
