@@CometMothman That is not correct. Many many many feral kitties and their kittens have been socialized and have become very very very loving and affection cats. I myself have rescued one 6 month old kitten and she was in heat and my Mom socialized her and she was the most affectionate and loving and CLEAN kitty. My Mom took 8 weeks of daily being with her and talking with her and eventually, she realized she was in a very safe place and after my Mom passed I inherited her and the six years I had her were wonderful. Why you would even say that is beyond me. All animals are different and each has their own personality and many are so glad to have a loving and caring home.

Later in the year it is more common for feral cats to only have one or two when it gets cold. They normally have a lot larger litters during the summer months. Housecats it doesn't seem to matter much at all.
