U helped make her birthing as pleasant as possible. She loves u. Keeping her fed, hydrated, helping with the kittens, a clean comfortable place to birth....she is a fortunate cat. This is precious .

I had a Siamese cat when I was growing up and I remember when she was giving birth. Her tummy was so swollen and she was panting. I lightly massaged her tummy and it made her so much more relaxed during labor. She was a good mommy and I had no problem with sending her kittens to good homes. All my friends at school wanted one! My best friend got two of them!
I found a stray cat many years ago that had 8 kittens. When I went to a cat rescue for help, the owner of the shelter said that was impossible, as cats normally have around 3 kittens per litter and there must have been 2 mother cats (there wasn't - just the one mom cat - half looked like her, half looked like their dad). Both parent cats were caring for them. I remember there being a back and forth debating this as she'd never seen a litter of that size in all her decades in cat rescue. Nice to see proof that it's possible! (ps. all the kittens and parent cats were rescued and eventually got adopted).
