I find it so annoying and frustrating that she’s hovering over what the mother cat is instinctively able to do on her own. Wish the owner left them alone!
I agree. I don't like the way the owner intervened at 6:06 - 6:20. It was chaotic and the way she held the cat's two legs and pulled up her tail was rough and aggressive. The mama cat had to move away to a corner to handle her baby in her own way. The subtiltles were just the owner trying to justify why she did what she did. I like the way the mama cat came back to claim her baby. 14:11 was pretty rough too. mama cat was trying to stand up but the owner held her down. She really didn't need that extra help from the owner.
Like how all these owners prevent mom cats from eating their placentas even tho it's highly necessary. Half the reason why kittens end up with issues etc because humans stop the mothers from restoring all their lost nutrients
@kathy-t5q I'm glad you said that because too many cat birth 'purists' do not know about all of the things that can happen to mama cat and kittens, and how important it is for the kittens to come out asap, and for their airways to be cleared asap which can be done the quickest and most efficiently by an experienced owner.
I have to agree with everyone that unless the kitten is not breathing, you should let the mommy cat work her magic & do what she instinctively knows how to care for the kittens during birth.
It's perfectly fine for an owner bonded with their mama cat to help out as much as possible to help expedite the birth and reduce how long their mama cat is in pain, and also because cats birthing is painful and exhausting. If you really love your cat and are bonded with her you would do everything you could to help her through the birthing process. 🥰
thank you for helping the cat clean and help the kitten but theres no need for your help. cats know how to do it themselves and i think you could just help with the light
@user-di2id3fw3y Okay, let's say she can. So what. Her owner is bonded with her and knows what is best for mama and kittens, and can do things much, much faster than mama. The faster the kittens are out and the quicker their nasal passages and and throats are clear, the better the outcome and lives saved.
@clayrains3496 Not really sometimes it's best to back off and let nature take it's course unless you can see they struggling, already the first mistake the owner made was keeping her leg down when giving birth to the first kitten, they need to open their legs to let out the kitten safely and she had to push more because of the owner intervention, the mama knows how to remove the amniotic sac

I know, I don't know why in lots of these videos the people interfer way to much. You never pull the kitten out of the mother,you can hurt the mom or kitten. Also only beings that give birth to normaly only 1 child at a time, like humans or horses or whatnot can have breach births. Beings that give birth to litters (a bunch of children at a time) don't have breach births cause there are so many in the womb at once positioning don't matter for the birthing. Just to much like work for mother nature to have like 8 babies all lined up neatly like for a fire drill, so it doesn't bother. lol

It is perfectly fine for an owner bonded to their mama cat to help out as much as possible to reduce the amount of time the cat is in terrible pain, to reduce the chance of a problem happening, to reduce the mama cat's anxiety, to get the kittens airways clean and open asap to avoid all sorts of problems, etc.

When in labor cats purr to help with pain levels. I found that out when my cat gave birth to her first litter and I called the emergency vet like 10 times during her labor lol I think I was more stressed over her labor than all 4 of my own!!!
@@MarleeVillamor yup. But if your cat is truly your best friend, you know. I have health problems and when I’d come to bed in pain, my 18 yr old Cali girl would always jump on the bed and snuggle with me purring like crazy. Best feeling in the world! rip Cali 🙏😢🐈

@@MarleeVillamor cats are really amazing. Mine died in my arms at 18 yrs old. Definitely my best friend. I had attached an oxygen tube to her carrier with her favorite blankie. She passed away in my lap. I actually tried mouth to mouth recitation and heart palpitations, but didn’t work. Yrs later I’m still devastated. 😢

Hello. I am glad that YOUR cats did not have coplacations but just because YOUR cat did not dident doesn't mean that nobody's will. I feel like that's a a little sad that you don't think that animals can have different personalities. and and cats use their natural instincts differently. This owner did a wonderful job. She could have intervened a little less but that second baby and a fey others could have drowned if this person hadent have helped.
It's been a few thousand years since house cats didn't have to worry about nutrition, I'm pretty sure cats in 2023 don't have to do every single thing for survival what they do on instinct.
@@dominic.h.3363 it doesnt start and end with nutrition. the mother has the necessary biosphere for the kittens. which is incompatible with humans. just leave the animals to do their thing and dont touch for 3 days. why 3 days ? because for 3 days mother will produce special saliva and milk for the kittens so that their immune system can develop.
Watching this brought tears to my eyes. I'm 45 years old with no child, I dnt even know what it feels like giving birth. This cat is so beautiful and wonderful to watch.

The mama cat is so cute and generous to let the owner touch her babies! But I think it's maybe better to let the mother cat let her babies take care of them. btw It's so cute to see this mama cat having new members in her cat family. ❤ My cat gave birth to two very cute twin babies, a boy and a girl!! The help of someone being there like a Doctor or even the owner may given birth for the Mommy cat.Very much easier.Ask if she was to do it by herself.I'm glad she had four beautiful kittens

Yeaa.. the owner said he/she is wiping the kittans because it's hard to breath for that kittan because some sort of liquid was there. And also if the mama cat have any problem with touching the kittan she would react but she was calm and relaxed so there's nothing wrong with it🖐🏼

I think mama cat knows better than a human how to have her kittens. She doesn't need your intervention. You could possibly cause her to reject her babies.

And the human knows much better than a cat what needs to be done and all the things that can go wrong- the cat doesn't have a clue about that! And humans can do things and multitask much, much quicker than a cat so it is really beneficial for humans to help!😃
clearly you didn’t watch the video or ur js dumb, but the mom did not at ALL have a problem with the doctors interfering and if the mom was left alone she would have had two kittens instead of four because two of them, again if you actually watched the video instead of pausing mid way through to read the negative and un knowledged comments and add one of ur own so u can feel included and cool, the kittens wre in a breeching position, meaning they couldve been suffocated and dead.
The level of interference during this natural process made me cringe. Why would you put a heat lamp on a cat that is in labor? The mother cat is so anxious that she’s not allowed to do what it instinctively knows it should be doing. Read the room lady. You do not need to break the amniotic sac - the mom is trying to do this by licking it as soon as it comes out, but the mom can’t because your hands are all in the way! Unbelievable.
Don't watch. This was beautiful, serene and adorable. All you can see is anger, negativity and your own vice to control others - this human didn't do things the way you wanted it. It's not your cat. Stop complaining.

It would be better to have human isupport. That baby was choking and wasn't moving the mom couldn't do anything but that man or woman saved it and then it started moving

watching this makes me frustrated, human keeps interfering with the births. the mother cat knows what to do! imagine you are the one giving birth and your husband keep rolling u left right and center, trying to get the baby out.... and you weren't wearing gloves, in between you were touching your camera. its so unhygienic
