5:57 Tigers actually make a noise called a prusten or a chuffing sound. It’s the equivalent of a purr. The hyoid bone in the throats of lions, tigers, leopards and jaguars are flexible. This allows them to roar but because of this they are unable to purr like our domestic cats. Our domestic cats have a more rigid hyoid bone thus allowing them to purr but not roar.
Pspspsps is never working on my cat. Instead i have to loudly meow. My cat recognize her name in context of talking about her (she always knows when i am talking behind her back). But going to a other room? Only MEEEEEOOOOW works
